Hotel Roca-Mar

1st visit was 2019 and things are even better now than before. The location is perfect right in the old town near to Tapas Alley to bars for everyone this includes bars for all tastes genders and sexualities in this immediate area.The area caters for everyone so be respectful of this.Many restaurants also..Just a minutes walk and you are at the seafront and one of the three beaches.A couple of minutes walk you are at the shopping street or the balcon overlooking the sea with it’s beautiful architecture and also the harbour. The room is great fantastic air con to cool down and the most comfortable beds ever ! TV all languages kettle fridge and a great shower.Plenty of storage room. To add to this there is a coffee bar in reception area with pastries etc. And finally the FANTASTIC staff.The lady at reception and the coffee bar is so welcoming so friendly and makes you feel at home.The other young man at reception also really friendly.Thank you to this lovely lady and all of the staff. We will 100% stay here again and I highly recommend it to all. See you next time.Gracias !

The suite with a terrace is the best room if you spend anytime indoors and quieter but all rooms are great.

Great location, deep in old Town. Recently refurbished to a good standard. Excellent customer service, especially Ana on reception. Bakery counter in reception, good for casual breakfast. Nice big room, comfortable beds. Very close to bars and restaurants and only 3 mins walk to the beach

Shower had minimal pressure. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast must be pre-booked as the dining room is very small so limited availability. Had to make do with coffee and cake at onside bakery. Wanted croissants but a member of the public had been in and bought them all. Surely should keep some back.for hotel guests.

Location is right in the heart of the Old Town which is my favourite place to be in Benidorm. The breakfast was fantastic!. As you sit down the cheery waitress brings you your orange juice, plus tea or coffee. The various toasts and pastries are delivered from their own little panaderia. Then a platter of various fruits followed by another platter of cold meats and cheeses. If we had any room left we could help ourselves to the hot cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, beans, sausages. The staff were sooo nice, made us feel right at home. Can't recommend the hotel highly enough!

I would have liked a double bed rather than twin beds. Other than that it was perfect for us.

The location was excellent, close enough to the old town and beach but far enough away from it all so not to hear any noise.

The bed in my room was a little hard for my liking, but the bed in my friends room was lovely and soft.

We have stayed a this hotel before so it perfect for our requirements. I think the beds may have had a upgrade they seemed to be more comfortable. Rooms are cleaned every day so were spotless. Safe is provided in each room. The location is perfect for the old town,bars and nightlife are on your doorstep but never any noise to keep you awake.

There was nothing not to like,i am sure other hotel owners could learn from this hotel. Thank you to all the staff at the Roca-Mar.

The hotel was very welcoming and clean, tidy & modern. It was 3 minutes walk to the Balcon Del Mediterraneo so very well positioned. The room was large and comfortable. We were in room 301 on the 3rd floor and had a small balcony with a street view. The bed was two singles but comfy and changed every day. There was a large walk in shower and the towels were changed everyday too. All the staff were polite and helpful. There is a small bakery in the reception area. If I go back to Benidorm then I would certainly consider staying again

Only disappointment was that the roof terrace was closed and we had some days with amazing sunshine but were unable to use it. This was not mentioned when we booked it so we felt a bit let down

The hotel was in a perfect location, we stayed here 4 nights and one night next door in the Miramar - both very good hotels. The best things about this hotel were location, peacefulness at night, the staff and the beds!! The most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel!!! Room was a little small but otherwise ok. Fridge and safe and kettle, all very welcome! It’s a stones throw from the gay bars which we did not know so as same sex couple it was great. We also didn’t know it was Pride week which again was great, no issues regardless of anyone’s sexuality. Very close to the centre of the old town, great bars to people watch and a short walk to tapas alley.

Underneath the beds could have been cleaner.

extremely small balcony , facing a brick wall and large cactus- I did like the cactus Due to the narrow road outside of the hotel , the shuttlebus was unable to drop us at the hotel we were dropped 10 minutes away , which we were not expecting. At gone midnight and walking to find the hotel with suitcases etc was not pleasant Not knowing where we were going , a 10 minute walk turned into 20 Not the hotels fault but be aware Also if you need a hairdryer, take your own. The hairdryer provided is like a dolly’s one with no hot air

Friendly welcome and our room was ready on arrival despite being some hours before check-in time. Clean, comfortable room, plenty of space and good sized bathroom. The hotel has a pleasant appearance and is clearly well cared for. Breakfast was very good and we liked the fact that we had an allocated table. The location in the Old Town, away from the hustle and bustle and, in our opinion, less desirable parts, made the stay very pleasant and peaceful. Easy to reach all areas from here if walking no problem. Would definitely return to this hotel if we happen to want to look on again in amazement at Benidorm!

Having a kettle was a bonus but you will need to buy own supplies of tea, coffee etc. not a particular problem. As ever, some noisy people who like slamming bedroom doors.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent location for the old town, Room was big, very clean and comfortable. Esy walking distance of bars and restaurants, as well as some good places for breakfast.

The bath/shower was very slippery so be careful as I nearly fell over several times. View out of room and from small balcony not great, but it is in the old town so to be expected. No breakfast available, but there are plenty of places around and close by.
