THB El Cid - Adults Only

I recently stayed at THB El Cid during my vacation in Palma de Mallorca and had a good experience. The location of the hotel is very nice, situated just a few steps away from the beach and surrounded by several restaurants and shops. The room itself is spacious, clean, with all the necessary amenities. One of the things I loved most about was the beautiful view to the Mediterranean, even if it was a lateral room. I bet the ones that are in front of the sea get a stunning sea view. In addition, the pool area was beautiful, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for shade and overlooking the sea. Overall, I recommend THB El Cid to anyone visiting Palma de Mallorca.

The close to the airport about 5 mins on taxi door to door. Beside the beach Adult only A cake left in our room for my husbands birthday lovely touch The rooms were cleaned sheets changed , clean towels every day . Breakfast was beautiful, great selection of all sorts, waiter service at the pool for drinks. Nice quiet area but close to bars and resturants. Highly recommend it for a relaxing break . We were giving this hotel by recommendation of other people that were there. Great choice.

Everything was fabulous . If I was giving a bit of feedback towards the beachfront access , there is none from the pool, we are sitting by the pool looking straight at the beautiful beach but you have to go out through bar and hotel to get to beach, other places have a gate with the swipe card of your room for access in again . It would be so handy might be worth looking into ,Just a thought. But everything was perfect for our 5 night break . Loved it and highly recommend it. Thank you .

The hotel was close to the airport and Palma, situated right on the beachfront. There were two separate pools with plenty of choice of sun beds. Rooms were spacious with lovely sea views and a great rainfall shower. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was brilliant and the hotel had tried to accommodate for different dietary preferences for dinner.

Rooms are modern, however the hotel lobby could also benefit from modernisation. Even a simple thing such as changing the chairs could make a big difference on first appearances. Aircon in the rooms wasn’t great. Even after leaving curtains shut and AC on all day, the room was still not cold by the evening. Shower design flaw means the bathroom floor gets soaked and very slippery after using the rainfall shower. Pool loungers were not the comfiest.

Location on the beach excellent. Great size pool and sunbathing area with lots of beds and parasols. Sea view room was great aspect looking to the sea.

Booked 2 rooms in our Group and were given dude by side but could not communicate across the balcony due to tall glass. Really silly should have options for parties together. Sun-loungers are so so noisy when being moved around the pool. The metal scrapping on the floor is constant and distracting to those relaxing! That was the biggest bug bear of the stay. Other than that all staff were friendly and accommodating.

this hotel has a lot to offer like pools (outside and indoor pool), gym, spa and sauna, a bar outside where you can sit and enjoy the view beside the pool. it is best to get the room with seaview. the bus stop is just behind the property which saves you money from paying taxi from and going to airport and just few mins away with bus from the city center. they have safe that you can use during your stay, the staff were courteous and helpful. we came in way earlier than check-in time so they offered us to keep our things first in the luggage room but we can already use the facilities. we came to our room and its not exactly as clean as we expected but only 1 call to the reception and they reacted immediately

we ordered half board, the dinner was not that exceptional, but the breakfast is way way better.

Location was excellent. So near the airport yet no aircraft noise. Beach across the road. The hotel was spotless and had a lovely fresh clean smell. Breakfast was excellent and we dined at the buffet on our last night and it too was fabulous and very good value at 14€ pp. Rooms were fresh and newly decorated. Cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

Nothing to do with the hotel but found it difficult to find a nice restaurant nearby. Mostly cafe style or fast food outlets.

The service was very pleasant. Everything was clean. The room was big and comfortable (we booked with sea view) and the view really nice (from the room and from the terrasse, where are the restaurant and 1 pool)! The beach in front of us was the best in this area, better than in S'Arenal, so we were happy we stayed here! There is two pools and both have their beauty. The food was delicious, every night a different theme, so you don't get bored with it! The airport was close, we found it practice like this. It doesn't bother a bit. We payed a lot, I think, but this year is everything more expensive, so....

The air conditioner in our room was not strong enough,we were many times uncomfortable during the evening. And unfortunately they don't have entertainment in the night!! It is really a pity.

Nice hotel with all (what I’ve noticed) rooms having sea view. The view is really pleasant. The clientele is predominantly 45+ years old, so the place is quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by multiple cafés, restaurants, shops. Vicinity to the airport is a plus - only 5 minutes by car. At the same time, the planes didn’t bother us at all - they take off in distance and you can hear them only during daytime. In the evening they take off to another direction.

Everything is run to an exceptionally high standard at this hotel. The room was immaculate & modern & probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Staying on the 6th floor, we had a breathtaking view of the sea & promenade. The balcony was furnished with lovely chairs & a table and was a lovely place to sit & look out at the view. The food was delicious & always plenty to choose from. Great selection of wines. I’d recommend going half board as it’s extremely good value. The restaurant is also spotless. On arrival we were very happy to have tea, coffee, milk & water in the room but this is only provided on the first day. This was a lovely touch but I’d have liked tea & coffee replenished daily. Not wanting to detract from the good, these are my points for improvement & did not tarnish our stay. Location wise you are so close to restaurants & a lovely cocktail bar next to the hotel called Neroli which is definitely worth a visit. We would stay again at this hotel, everything is perfect. There is nothing not to like

The place is perfect for relaxation at the beach or swimming pool or for trips around the island (as the bus stop is just around the corner). It's very close to the airport, which is convenient. I liked my room because it had a perfect view, a nice balcony, and it was clean and comfortable. I'd come back again if possible.

Sometimes I think that "Adults only" means "Selfish only". There were two young guys in a room next to mine who played extremely loud music till midnight every day. It wasn't possible to relax outside on the balcony or even sleep. I really like music but I didn't plan to stay in a party hotel. :-)
