Hotel SB BCN Events 4* Sup

We booked this hotel for our vacation in Barcelona. We spent most of our time on the beach and exploring the city center. We arrived before the designated check-in time, but the staff (that was extremely friendly and proficient in English) prioritized preparing our room without charging any extra fees and even offered us a welcome drink while we waited. The room itself was clean and pleasant, featuring a comfortable bed, a large TV, and a quiet air conditioning system, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. I personally didn't try the pool myself, but my lovely girlfriend did, and she said it was great. The water was warm, and the pool was spacious enough for swimming. One major advantage was the proximity of a bus stop, just a two-minute walk away from the hotel. Buses departing from this stop provided direct transportation to both the beach and the center of Barcelona, eliminating the need for changes. This convenience was highly appreciated. Another great aspect was the presence of a large shopping center nearby, offering a diverse food court and well-known chains such as LIDL and Carrefour. On one occasion, we even decided to walk to the beach instead of taking the bus, and it took us approximately 15 minutes, which was quite reasonable. One thing we didn't like was the drinks at the hotel bar. They were expensive, which wouldn't have been a problem if they weren't served in plastic cups. It seemed like the bartender didn't even know what some of the drinks on the menu were. We ordered once, but afterward, we stuck to just having a beer. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this hotel during our Barcelona vacation. We highly recommend it!

Pool, room, cleanliness,super helpful staff, location next to shopping centre. New section of hotel has smaller rooms but high quality bed, big TV, big walk in shower no bath or bidet.

Restaurant poor. Menu strange limited selection of food. Quality of hamburgers very poor and very expensive. Better to eat out. Also bar only stocks one type of draught beer which ran out on Sunday! Badly managed and understaffed. Bathrooms need less slippery shower tray and grab handles for safety. No written guides for operating TV,safe,aircon so you have to download something which we didn’t know how to do but staff came up to explain .

We had a lovely time at Hotel SB BCN. The room was spacious and modern, and super clean with housekeeping arranged to come by every day. The hotel had a lovely pool and bar area with really friendly staff. It was in a great location too - it was a 25 min walk to the beach, which was beautiful and not too busy with some great restaurants, and it was also 15 mins from Castelldelfells train station, which gets you into Barcelona in 30 mins. The hotel was also an easy < 5 min walk to Lidl and Carrefour, with a huge shopping mall next door too.

Only recommendation would be to get more sun loungers by the pool area, as we had to use our towels on the grass a couple of times. Otherwise, really great experience and would definitely recommend / come again!

I like everything in this hotel ten out of ten❤ my stay was amazing because i always read reviews before i book this hotel i take my time and read all the reviews and honestly this hotel is a diamond god the cleanness wow the best number one hotel in barcelona this hotel will be my fav place to stay in barcelona and i recommend you 100% this hotel if you want to stay in a clean place with a polites and educated people i recommend you this hotel i already recommend this hotel to my family and friends because for me the cleanliness and the education is always number one and they had it all the hotel is close to everything you have the burgaking near and the KFC and the bus stop to go to the city centre and the rambla and the plaza catalonia and to go to the breach you have bus number 99 will take you straightly to the city and other side to the beach and you hat the big mall shopping centre near the hotel and is not far from the airport amazing what more could you ask for and the reception was very educated and professional polite people and they speak very well English ❤ and the hotel the rooms oh my god clean the place and the pool everything is very clean and we loved it because i love when everything is clean and the reception were very helpful honestly this is my honest review and i recommend you this fantastic hotel beautiful place to stay in barcelona only positivity thank you very much ❤

Lovely clean hotel, spacious and comfortable. Located near the city center and all the necessary shops and restaurants. Near all transport interchanges. The beach is located 25 minutes walk on a straight road. In the courtyard of the hotel there is a beautiful swimming pool and places to relax and a restaurant. Rooms are always clean, bathrooms are spacious, beds are comfortable.

It is strange that the pool can only be used from 11 am, it is very inconvenient. I want to swim in the morning and have fun. In the evening the pool also closes at 7 o'clock. Why? There is a problem with the elevators, you can wait up to 10 minutes.

Breakfast was good, location is also convenient. The room was cleaned every day. There is a train station in 10 mins walk, and a bus station in 2 mins walk. Also in the shopping mall, there is a very nice all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. Highly recommended! Also, I didn't see it on the hotel page, but it has a nice kids' playroom and outdoor playground. Overall we liked the hotel and place but no more than for a short period of time (2-3 days). For a longer period without a car, might be a bit boring.

The sauna was clean and new, but cold. I couldn't sweat properly in 15 mins. The pool was a bit dirty. What I didn't understand is where to dry swimming suites because the hotel has a pool, but there is no balcony where I can put wet clothes or towels. Minor, but having a balcony would be nice.

The breakfast offered was excellent.

We didn’t like the fact that one staff girl was not doing her job properly. The rate I received didn’t offer me a breakfast, but at check-in she told us “breakfast is included”, so we believed her. When we went to breakfast, the lady at the door didn’t see us on her list but let us in saying she would confirm with the front desk. When done we went to the front desk and asked the girl, she looks and say “it seems breakfast is not included “. When we said she had told us the contrary when we checked in, she denied it completely. The young man at the front desk tried to calm the situation down but that interaction of denial and dishonesty from the young lady did not make us feel well about the hotel in general.

The hotel is very nice and the lobby is large. It has a wide lounge zone and a room with toys for small children. The room (triple) was very comfortable and a crib was ready when we got there. Everything was extremely clean, well insolated and nice views to the swimming pool and the Olympic canal. The hotel is a bit far from the train station but very close to a mall with plenty of restaurants and interesting shops.

The price for the children's buffet was very confusing. Some staff did not charge children under 5 and others did, and we could not understand why. Also, I had a salmorejo at the pool and it was not fresh. Despite these two things, we overall had a very good experience at the hotel and would stay there again.

Everything was really good. Sound isolation is impressive as my concern was related to nearby highway. Short and pleasant 15min walk to train that often goes to Barcelona. Breakfast is good, room design with mirrors is fabulous, room facilities are amazing, bed is super comfortable, pillows are 5*

Nothing really just as friendly safety tip: head of bed has very sharp stone tile edges where someone can easily injure their head if they carelessly lean back. Tile edges should be smoothened or rounded.

Very good facilities: swimming pools, gym, café / restaurant, library, hot drinks in room, etc. The hotel is modern and clean. We had an upgrade to an excellent room. Swimming pools are in a nice garden area and staff are helpful.

The location is a bit anonymous between the road and a shopping centre, but it is practical if you have a car. The train station is a short walk away.
