Hotel Inglaterra

The hotel is located in a fantastic location in the heart of Granada. It is possible to reach all the city's landmarks in a few minutes, like the Alhambra, the Mirador de San Nicolas, the Cathedral and other famous locations. There are also quite a few flamenco theatres in the area. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices. The room was clean and tidy and the Wi-Fi was working really well. Nice bathroom as well. Overall really nice hotel to stay in Granada, I would definitely recommend.

Great central location. The staff was amazing - helpful, caring and professional. Buffet breakfast was delicious and I can’t complain from the variety- it was good. My husband loved, that there was a grill for sandwiches. We had a specious and clean room on the 5th floor with beautiful view (keep in mind, that the 4th and 5th floor are not accessible by the elevator). Hair dryer is available in the room and you can lend iron and board from the reception. Internet connection was good. Luggage room is also available. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

We liked everything about this place. We would love to stay in this Hotel when we visit Granada again.

We enjoyed the Hotel Inglaterra and its wonderful location, great price and friendly employees. We got the view of the Alhambra as promised and the room was pleasant and a great size. We didn't get breakfast but it looked like a nice spread.

Two things while at the hotel. An overpowering smell of cleaning fluid in the lobby and we did have a couple weird bugs on our beds. Spiders I think, I'm not quite sure but we managed to sleep well with no repercussions. The front desk woman was very apologetic and she sent up some staff who turned our room upside down the second day but not what you want to see.

Lovely little hotel right in the centre of Granada - literally a stone throw away from the cathedral! Because of the amazing location we pretty much walked everywhere - even Alhambra was just a 20 minute walk away. There were also many great bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The room was clean and comfy, we came back to it everyday freshly done up. I'm not sure if every room had one but ours had a little lobby space which was quite nice to store all our luggage. The staff were friendly and there was a good spread for breakfast. Last but not least the price was very decent - definitely will be returning the next time we're in Granada.

As it is close to bars it can get a bit noisy in the evening - we didn't have any issues with noise late into the night so seemed relatively well controlled. We had a triple room with 3 single beds which was a tad small with not much manoeuvre room, but overall it was comfy so we weren't too bothered by it.

Only spent 1 night there, passing by Granada. The hotel did an excellent job. The reception was professional and helped me with reliable bus schedule information. The décor of the lobby is airy, fresh and stylish. The single bedroom was rather spacious. The restaurant was flexible enough to accept me at breakfast 15 minutes before the official start because I had the bus to the airport to catch. The location is right in the middle of the attractive quarter with restaurants, bar, cathedral, etc... only spent 1 night there, passing by Granada. The hotel did an excellent job.

Extremely well-located hotel for sightseeing, and local choice of restaurants, bodegas and bars. Clean, well managed, good breakfast buffet, room and comfort fair for the competitive price. Would visit again.

Parking is expensive, and you need to know this in advance, with clear directions and instructions to find a local city car park. Apparently, these were sent on Booking.Com notifications. I asked in advance but did not see any message. Expect to pay around 22 Euros per day for parking.

The hotel was excellent. If catching the bus from the airport it's a few minutes walk from the Cathedral bus stop. Breakfast was plentiful, there was a lot to choose from, cereals, fruit juice, pastries ,meats, cheeses, fresh fruit , tea / coffee and freshly cooked eggs and bacon to order. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was a decent size. The surrounding area was safe and there were plenty of nice restaurants close by. Sightseeing only a short walk away. The Alhambra was about 20 minute walk away. Reception staff were very helpful.

Nothing too dislike.

Location is absolutely PERFECT. Hotel is right behind the Cathedral and you are at 1 minute walking distance to the city center. There are many restaurants right around the hotel. The bus station is also at 1 minute walking distance. Room is big enough for 2 people, also the bathroom is very big and comfortable. The hotel and the room is very nice decorated, clean, comfortable and bright. The beds are comfortable too. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. I can highly recommend this hotel for your Granada trip, which is a beautiful city. :-)

Due to the restaurants & bars right next to the hotel, the rooms facing to the street may be a little loud at night. If you prefer to have an absolute silence, ask for a room facing to the inner courtyard. We preferred a street facing room, as they are much brighter with sunlight and we weren’t disturbed at all during the night. So, it depends on what you wish.

Staff was really nice, they helped us a lot during our stay, and kept our luggage as well as let us stay a bit longer using the lounge for work. The location is perfect to do everything on foot in Granada.

It's right next to the noisy bar area in Granada (calle Elvira) so you can't leave the window open if you want to go to bed early. We're not Spanish and we weren't really on vacation so we couldn't afford to stay up all night... Also, the hotel is a bit old and rooms feel a bit outdated.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was two blocks from about everything downtown. It wasn't a fancy smancy hotel. I thought the thing about travel was getting out and seeing things and not sitting in your spa room watching tv. The breakfast and breakfast lady were great. The staff was great, and the place was spotless with old marble floors. It was in a busy night place for bars and restaurants and Moroccan type flea markets. It doesn't get any more home, fun feeling than that.

NOTHING!!! Places like this is what we look for. In Iceland the Base Hotel. In Shamrock, Texas the a small motel. I could go on because we have been quite a few place, but people need to associate with the common person to see what the world is really like.
