U-Sense Granada Centro

The hotel has been beautifully renovated and the decor and design is lovely. Right in the heart of Granada. We stayed in a premium twin on the 5th floor and I was delighted that it was bigger than the average twin room and had a separate living room area with a desk. I was actually working a little during the trip so it was perfect! The room had lovely views and was super comfortable. There is also a terrace outdoor area you can sit in on the same floor with views over the city to the Sierra Nevada. Finally the staff are wonderful. I actually can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with such welcoming staff. Can't wait to come back!

Fab location! Really central but the square down below wasn't particularly a party square so no crowd noises overnight which was an initial concern. We had a lovely big room with a great bathroom, lovely rainforest shower! The staff were all excellent and extremely helpful. A great base for all that Granada has to offer, good breakfast, I'd definitely stay again for an active holiday, perhaps not the best choice if you're hoping to have a lot of downtime in your room/the hotel.

Unfortunately the soundproofing in this hotel is not the best! Although the crowds in the square weren't particularly audible what was very audible was the sound of our neighbours doors and the city also erected a platform/stage in the square in the early hours of the morning (starting around 5am I think??) during our first night which really disturbed our sleep, thankfully the second nights sleep was much better! There was also a slightly weird smell in our room - we were offered a swap but ultimately decided to stick to our first room as it was bigger. The smell seemed to get better after we ran the AC for a bit.

The location was superb. The hotel is so central. On arrival we were greeted by two members of staff who could not have been any more helpful. They gave us a delicious welcome drink and sat with us for ten minutes answering all of our questions and showing us locations and directions on a map which they let us keep. We needed an adaptor for our stay and they provided this without any hesitation.There was a band playing in the square the night we were there and the atmosphere was electric. I loved that the room had a little Juliette balcony. The roof terrace provided fabulous views of the square, the cathedral and the Alhambra. I went to mass when I was there and I was delighted to hear that the cathedral was the closest church and only two minutes walk away.

The hotel was a little bit noisy in the morning with guests coming and going but if you are an early riser, this would not be a problem.

The location was ideal, right in the centre of Granada. Two minutes walk from the Cathedral with many restaurants, bars and shops close at hand. The double glazing in our front facing room meant we heard little of the bustle in the square below. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection including cereals, meat, cheese and fruit along with bacon, scrambled eggs and tortilla followed by pastries. The coffee machine worked well and the surroundings were comfortable. There was a pleasant lounge, too, and a small but adequate roof terrace with great views across the square and to the Cathedral. The room had all we needed, was clean and freshly decorated with a good ensuite bathroom. Coffee and drinks were available in the lounge area rather than in the room and were modestly priced. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful and enabled us to get the most out of our few days in Grenada by pointing out interesting sights we hadn't appreciated from guide book reading. A most pleasant stay.

Everything was either as good as we had hoped, or better. An ideal base to visit Granada.

This was the perfect place to start my trip in Granada! It’s right in the city center, so very close to lots of great restaurants and shops. It was so convenient for coming home throughout the day for a rest, and then popping back into town. The rooms are DARLING with all pink walls, arched doorways, and cute furniture. I paid a little extra for a balcony view and was astounded when I checked in that I got the top floor room, right next to the shared balcony. The room was huge, with a full bed, and a connected ‘living room’ that was very spacious. the views were incredible! the facilities were clean and the staff was helpful.

The beds (two twins pushed together to make a sort of queen bed) were comfortable and the room was mostly quiet for sleeping. The bathroom was clean and tidy space under the sink for toiletries. The shower stall is small, but comfortable to use; there are both an overhead shower head and a classic European smaller one that can be hand-held. There are many restaurants nearby as it is in the center on a big plaza. You can walk to the Alhambra in about 25 minutes.

The room stated there was soundproofing, but we could hear noise from the street below and from the hallway when neighboring guests came in and out. The maid service starts too early for Spain (before 9am).

This hotel really is wonderful! The staff are so friendly and helpful, particularly Jesus on check in. It’s located right in the centre of the city, within easy walking distance of all the attractions and close to lots of nice restaurants, but despite the central location it’s still quiet at night time. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was delicious. There are wonderful views from the terrace on the rooftop and the room was really comfortable and clean. As a solo female traveller, I don’t think I could find a much better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect.

I used to stay here when it was Hotel los Tilos. La Bella Granada is a complete remake of the old hotel. The location is the perfect: the plaza is lively but quiet and, despite the tourists, it still feels like old Granada. I ended up with a room with a beautiful view of the plaza with the cathedral and the Alhambra visible in the distance. Lovely. The bed was huge by Spanish standards and oh so comfortable.

- on the first day there was a bad sewer smell in the small room of our 2 bedroom but we talked to the staff and it was fixed during the day - if you’re a couple you will have twin beds, which is fine but they tend to easily get pushed away from each other - the bathroom isn’t great (lack of shelves, not an Italian shower) despite these small things we had an amazing stay and we definitely recommend La Bella Granada!

Location - excellent, seconds to the Cathedral Breakfast - NA, too many other restaurants/cafes downstairs Room - Small, has a smell, small tv that is not placed to the bed location, not enough sink top to put cosmetics, the shower area dont even have a proper holder for all the shampoo / body foam, it have to be placed on the floor.

the furniture to the tv set was not thought through, it was not ideal. there was a smell to the room which i have no idea where it is coming from
