Itaca Jerez by Soho Boutique

The location is excellent, a few minutes' walk from the bus/train station, and right in the city centre. The staff were very helpful and attentive. There was a bath as well as a shower and the bed was comfortable. I didn't use the restaurant or any other facilities so cannot comment on those, but the breakfast seemed rather pricey at €15 so I ate at a nearby cafe.

There was nothing in the minibar, it wasn't even turned on. It took me a while to work out how to turn the heating off (a tiny switch next to the bed). There was no information in the room about the hotel facilities. I would have appreciated the means to make a hot drink but this doesn't seem to be a feature of many hotels in Spain. It was not possible to open the window or even the curtains, as the room looked out on an interior patio with other rooms opposite, so it felt a little claustrophobic.

This is a beautiful and amazing hotel. The bedrooms were excellent: very clean, well furnished and quite big. The whole hotel is a monument in itself, since it is located in an old monastery and is very beautiful. Also, the breakfast at the hotel was very nice. It is located in the center of Jerez with the main monuments close by. It is also near to parking and restaurants. The staff of the hotel were super friendly, available and helpful. They helped us with all our needs and were always available. The price was also accessible and more than fair for everything that the hotel offers I definitely recommend Itaca Hotel Jerez for family or business trips and will definitely want to stay there again when I return to Jerez.

Very central, large room and a great shower.

The room was very hot, the a/c was set to heat so cold air wasn't coming out. It had a juliet balcony which you coud only open the door to it all the way, which made the room very noisey due to traffic. A tilt window would have been great for the night time to have fresh air come in. Breakfast was a bit poor. The breakfast hall was a bit small and and not much was on offer.

The location was excellent. Easy walk into the old town and also for the train and bus stations. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Something for everyone.

We didn’t like the pillows, they use the bolster type which are hard and uncomfortable which is a shame as the kingsize bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little tired but functional.

Location Also - it was very convenient for us to have our luggages kept for us after check out while we did tastings and wandered the city. The lobby has plenty of seats to pass siesta time while waiting for your next train.

Part of the wall panel was bulging out, which did not really bother me but they can try to fix that. Also - the tortilla for breakfast was cold, like just recently defrosted, not freshly made. Otherwise, breakfast was decent

Nice property in a good location. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Just a few steps from a nice square with a few eateries. Within 10 minute walk to several highlights on my itinerary. Breakfast buffet was reasonable in cost and suitable for starting out the day. Available for several hours yet refreshed frequently. I would stay here again.

Great city center location, and it is easy to find. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and well laid out rooms. We enjoyed our buffet breakfast. Thank you.

The hotel rooms need peep holes to see who is on the other side of the door for any safety concerns.

It was a big room, very comfortable and quiet. Very cozy. Everything is spotless. The staff was very kind and helpful. It's close to the train and bus stations, and there are many places nearby to grab a drink or something to eat.

Traditional Spanish building. Quiet but centrally located and ideal for the event we were attending. Old convent building and quirky with statues and breakfast in the old chapel. Breakfast was good with great choice of dishes for all tastes. Booked slots for social distancing. Bathroom cavities good with excellent shower pressure. Reception staff extremely helpful and professional.

Variable air conditioning. Wasn’t consistent. We didn’t do anything about it as it worked enough ,but could be improved.

No recommendations of best bars and restaurants from staff without asking,toilet door no lock and right next to bed,flush for toilet hanging off and bath taps lose but for the price ok
