Villa Jerez

We loved this Hotel!!! It is a really beautiful building, with a great ambiance and old world charm with a modern twist. From the moment we arrived, the service from the concierge was absolutely superb, and his his helpful advice and recommendations were spot on. We were travelling with another couple, and both rooms were really lovely. Nicely decorated, spacious, with magnificent bathrooms. The pool, although small, was very pleasant after a hot day exploring. Breakfast and bar service both excellent. At all times we were made to feel like important and valued guests, and that all of the staff were keen to make sure we had a good stay.

Not a major, but Villa Jerez is a decent walk from town, so we usually took a taxi one way. It is an easy walk (5 minutes) to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and to the Sandeman Bodega.

The hotel is small (just 18 rooms) but it is a beautiful old building and has everything you need. The room was very spacious and well laid out. We loved the pool area, it was never crowded and there are more than enough sun beds. The only meal we ate at the hotel was breakfast, which was very good. The old town is about 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel but it's worth it as there are some wonderful shops, restaurants and bars. There are also some restaurants and shops very near to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Very kind and attentative staff. Lovely wel decorated rooms. Indeed a true boutique hotel. Setting is peacefull with a beautifull pond in front with sculptures in the water. Quit pool area with birds signing in the trees. Ideal for a few days stay when visiting Jerez. The place is less equiped for children.

The (small) restaurant menu is way too long with to many dishes. A nightmare for the chef and as a result the produced dishes do not meet expectations. A pity, because the setting on the terrace is perfect.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly. Although this hotel appears to mainly attract couples, we were made to feel very welcome as a family with our 2-year-old daughter. The room we had was huge - more like the size of an apartment. The grounds are lovely and quiet as is the swimming pool. The location is around 20 minutes walk from the centre, which was fine for us. It's in a nice area with a couple of restaurants nearby. It would be ideal for those with a car as it has plenty of parking and much easier to drive to than places that are closer to the city centre. Breakfast was great, and very enjoyable sitting in the peaceful garden. Thank you for a great stay. We would love to come back for longer.

The only slight disappointment was that we only had a Juliet balcony overlooking the car park, so not somewhere we could sit outside. However, the room was so lovely that we didn't feel like asking to move! Many of the other rooms look over the gardens. It would be useful to have a slightly bigger child bed for toddlers, rather than a cot. These are only minor things, we had a great stay!

We were looking for a comfortable hotel with a bit of character to spend several days lazily reading and exploring the city and nearby Cadiz. Villa Jerez lived up to expectations. It is a 15-20 minute walk into the old city which means popping out for tapas in an old square takes time. There are ,however some good places to eat nearby. The advantage of the Villa Jerez over some centro hotels is that it has a beautiful garden and a larger swimming pool.

The rooms were very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Our ages range from 14 to 80 and were were all catered for by the amazing staff,. We had an excellent meal the first night and ordered drinks, coffee etc from the bar to enjoy on the beautiful terraces during our stay. The pool hadn't been used when we first arrived but was quickly cleaned and then used daily by us

We couldn't fault anything - a great hotel and facilities

The hotel is in an ideal place to reach by car and very close to all Jerez has to offer. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a superior double room and it was superb. Beds were very comfortable, the room and the bathroom were a very good size. When we hopefully go back to Jerez this hotel would be the place we would want to stay. I would like to thank Villa Jerez and its staff for making our short break a real treat

Huge room & bathroom. Vast open interior spaces in public rooms, with marble everywhere. Has the feel of a stay in a country house. Pool was pleasant to use and staff very helpful and friendly. Dinner was good enough, although not overly subscribed for by the residents on the night we dined in. Some rooms have a large balcony with chairs and tables. Breakfast was plenty good enough without being outstanding. A great location for the Real Escuela and Sandemans for the sherry tasting. Enough car parking & secure. Worth the money. What you see in the photos is what you get.

Not much to dislike; some felt the sitting area a little too formal, as no bar (service always available) and chairs not necessarily ideal for sitting for a drink, unless outside. The trade-off from it being close to some of the attractions and quiet, means that it is a decent walk to the centre of town, but taxis easily available and cheap.

This hotel is an amazing boutique hotel. Exceptional facilities and the staff here were brilliant. A particular mention for Paco who was so friendly and helpful to us throughout our stay. The rooms and pool were lovely and well maintained.This is a quality hotel and we would love to return again. Also please go to Fundador for the tour and tapas. You will not regret that either.! Beautiful building. Well cleaned and luxurious interiors - lots of marble, fountains, manicured gardens. Wonderful pool area. A friendly welcome.

Slow service - was very difficult to order anything - no one came to see if you wanted a cold drink by the pool for example. Breakfast was very basic. Seemed to be lots of events on. Not the most relaxing when trying to find peace and quiet by the pool - screaming children for example and children's entertainers. Some amenities could do with updating.
