Hotel Los Condes

Everything about our stay in this hotel was very good and good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and everything made up daily. Location wad central and allowed us to walk everywhere. The only blips were that we often had problem with the 'key' card and the bath towels were quite thin and a little frayed at the edges. The beds were very comfortable, air conditioning very good and room very quiet. The breakfast we found a little expensive for what was offered but there are plenty of coffee shops nearby as an alternative. As a 3star hotel I would recommend it.

The key card would often not work well. The larger bath towels were on the thin side and frayed at the edges denoting some wear and tear.

The location was very good. If you like to walk and are able to do so, you can walk to most of sites recommended to visit in Madrid. The two men at the front desk were pleasant. The room has a water kettle to make tea or coffee. There was plenty of hot water for showers. There is a mini fridge in the room.

The option for the included breakfast wasn't offered on Booking.com. It is offered for €10 per person if it isn't included in the room.

The room was small, but very clean, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

The person who was at the reception was friendly, but a bit on the dry side. A smile and welcoming words would have been nice. Instead, the person who we did the check out with was very smiley, asking how good our stay and wishing us good continuing travels. That makes a difference. It shows they do care. Breakfast had a small selection and the cafeteria was rather small. That being said, it’s not a big deal as it was good and staff friendly. Something that was not related to the property itself, but to many streets around central Madrid, was the fact that there’s lots of rubbish laying around, sidewalks and streets full of “weird looking stains”, sometimes rather smelly. Lots of graffiti (which these days it’s unfortunately everywhere, and not artistic at all).

Excellent location with in a walkable distance from the busy streets like Gran via and Callao. All sort of food options are available and live even in mid night. If you have only 1-2 days recommend this as its easy and quick to travel around

the 2 streets we used from main road to the hotel seems to be bit dark and foul smelly especially when we were walking with small kids though it has nothing to do with the hotel and no bad experiences for us either, just slightly worried being a first time tourist in Madrid city. Otherwise we are happy with the stay and location part

Great location so close to everything. The staff were also very nice and helpful. The room was not very big, but was enough for what I needed, a place to relax after long day of exploring beautiful Madrid and enjoying tasty food! the shower was amazing, water pressure is very good! Room was clean and quiet. Upon checking out I was offered to leave my luggage in a safe place, while I was still enjoying last few hours in the city, as my flight was later on in the evening, so was super convenient as I didn’t have to worry about having my luggage with me all day! will definitely stay again when visiting Madrid! 😊

Good sized room very close to the Grand Via but with zero street noise. I couldn't hear anything from my neighbours. I really appreciated the kettle so that I could make tea and being able to use Chromecast to watch things from my phone on the TV. The aircon worked great and wasn't too loud.

The pillows were very hard and it seemed impossible to close the door without it slamming so inevitably I was woken a few times in the night. I didn't mind too much as from seeing the locations of other hotels I'd looked at they would be much louder from street noise.

The hotel is in the center.. in quite place. The breakfast was nice and good.

When we get arrived to hotel, the service man in the lobby was so un kind.. he was Not sympathetic at all.. it was very bad filling at that moment.. even not a smile from him.. this service can do only damage for the name of the hotel. I'm so sorry for him. But except him, everything was so good and we very enjoined from the hotel.

it is right at the center of gran via, which is the main street of madrid, right near two metros — maybe even three. the staff were absolutely lovely & always greeted you with smile and very helpful. the laundry service was wonderful & not too pricey.

the room was quite small — but understandable with the price. it took some time for the key to work, it took three times before the door opened and the wifi was absolutely awful. most time i was using my data & not the wifi.

Perfect location close to everything steps from el callao area. 2min walking to la gran via. Lovely staff, for 12 euros complete breadfast. But a lot of options near to have breadfast. Next to supermarkets bus and train stations.

Since was winter they turn off the ac. It was warm in the room with no way to turn on the ac. Didn't sleep for 2 night too warm in the room. Only negative comment.

- Central to everything and walking distance to many areas of interest i.e food, sight seeing, shopping - Quiet because it was tucked away in the side streets away from the main streets and traffic noise - Breakfast was delicious, glad that I included it into my costs - Bar fridge was filled everyday - Staff were friendly - Chromecast on TV allowed me to cast things such as YouTube, Netflix onto the screen after a big day of exploring
