InterContinental Madrid, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was good and waiters were very happy to assist. However being a vegetarian I didn't appreciate Potato Rosti under the same cover as Ham!! I am sure some people would have unintentionally mixed the tongs used for Rosti and Ham. It would be very useful if all vegetarian meals can be well labelled and kept a little away from non-vegetarian items. Rooms were clean and pillows great.

It did not have extra activities like a swimming pool that I was expecting in a five star hotel. The piano was locked too. TV was not working ok in one of the rooms.

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable, and the staff are extremely courteous, efficient and yet endearingly discreet. The restaurant serves dishes of the highest quality. I'm very impressed. This is my third stay (after Lisbon and Porto) in a hotel belonging to the Intercontinental chain. This stay was just as wonderful. Thank you and I heartily recommend

i should arrive at 31.03.2022 i phone to hotel telling them that i will arrive one day late ate 01.04.22 , they said because the reservation was through booking i have to contact booking to get the money back for one night , unfortunately it was very hard to get booking by phone , there for the hotel charge for one night that i didn't use . they said if i would order the room thorough inter continental reservation center i would pay better price and it was easy to cancel the room . so why i need to use booking in this case . beside of this i paid 28 eur for day for parking in the hotel parking . i wish to get back the money i paid for one night that i did not use , thanks in advance arie aviv phone +972 (0) 549792597

Very big rooms, clean bathrooms, rich breakfast. Even the design is not so modern, the hotel has its own charm. Really good position, 15 min walking till Plaza de Cibeles. Has its own parking.

The parking, even is under the hotel, it is not connected with the hotel. Anyway, it is 2 min til inside the hotel.

As expected and wonderful property from the brand. Majestic building, very good location; close to a lot of significant sights but still far enough away from the busiest areas. the metro is only 150 meters away so all in all a great hotel.

The breakfast was good but I have had better at other hotels of the same quality. Not bad mind you but I have had better.

Breakfast was vey good as usual. For us a good location but if you wanted the city centre it was a km away.

The staff were friendly and welcoming

The hotel is old but everything worked perfectly fine no issues

Clean and nice hotel. Very comfortable beds.

No swimming pool. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choice, but poor quality of French pastry which is a pity and no eggs to go with the bacon. Breakfast service was okay, but could be better as quite disorganised.

Great facilities and staff in bar.

Whilst the service and staff was exceptional, I found the restaurant greeter at breakfasts to be extremely rude and unhelpful.
