Great decoration based on the city theme. Staff was nice, the swimming pool is really good and has plenty of supporting facilities. The breakfast is very good with a solid variety. Location is good with every service nearby, the downside is that you’re in the middle of 2 main roads.

Mini fridge in the room should be mandatory for an hotel like this. Specially in a place where temperatures generally go over 35•C Swimming Pool closing between 14:00 and 16:00 is understandable but still a negative.

Breakfast is very good. Pool is also awsome. Staff is very friendly and always available to help you on our questions. Mall accross the street with some options to eat on lunch or dinner.

My old son was affraid to sleep on the top bed because it didn't felt safe. He slept with us on the main bed and young daughter on the lower bed (it is a bunk bed). I heard some strange noises inside the walls of the room. Seemed like some kind of animal was inside the walls.

This was our second stay at this hotel as we traversed through Spain, once again the hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the water for the shower was hot. Views out across the town were pleasant and staff on the front desk were helpful. Secure parking could not be reserved but has always been available. Breakfast is the typical cold meats, cheeses and pastries buffet, an attempt is made to provide a hot alternative but it is best avoided. It cost 10 euros booked ahead or 15 euros on the morning so decide the night before! A taxi into the very lively town to see the various spectacular roman ruins is 6-10 euros, there is a plethora of local Spanish restaurants to chose from. If you just want a bed for the night the restaurant opposite the hotels' steps is ridiculously cheap (burgers 6-10 euros), and surprisingly good quality.

The only slight negative is the early morning noise due to the corridor floors being marble.

The location was good. A lot of parking nearby and the hotel has its own parking. The hotel is bright and clean. I felt a little judged by one of the receptionists but overall they were very helpful. (Do they make everyone pre-pay? ) I loved the small gym. It was perfect for what I wanted and very clean. There was a water fountain inside plus plenty of small towels and cleaning liquid. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very good. Breakfast was excellent. Well worth getting a room with breakfast included. Lots of choices and the food was fresh. The only thing wrong with breakfast was the coffee.

The only thing I didn't like was the coffee at breakfast. They should have an option for freshly brewed coffee. Coffee from machines is just not the same.

We stayed in a standard room which was big, with a large comfortable bed. The room was extremely clean and the bed had crisp, clean sheets. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was of a good standard for €10. The hotel has secure underground parking for an additional cost of €10. The hotel is across a small road from some bars and restaurants.

The hotel is tired and a bit dated. The hotel has a lot of potential but needs to be redecorated.

Fantastic location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Free parking at the front of the hotel. Lifts to upper floors with on site bar and restaurant with an awesome pool.

No mini bar - not even a bottle of water in the room on such a hot day. Hard sell on the secure parking which is absolutely not ideal for motorbikes as very steep decline with cobbled surface. Unhelpful attitude of reception who did not explain where parking was located - I ended up parking in restaurant car park opposite so I could walk around the area and find out for myself where the free, out of sight parking is located.

This was such a lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the window shutters blocked out noise and light and meant a good night's sleep. The pool is enormous, plenty of sun lounges available. Quite a few places nearby to have a drink or food, plus a big Carrefour behind the hotel. Plenty of free parking available just outside or nearby. It is a way out of the main tourist attractions, so it will take about 20-25mins to walk to the Alcazaba.

Would have liked to have a fridge to keep some cold drinks

Lovely large rooms in a roman inspired style, really cool. Beds are very comfy, we had a great sleep here Great check in, very efficient and friendly Breakfast was excellent. Parking on site available but we chose to park in the carpark of the cinema across the road for free and had no issues. Only a five minute drive to the sights of Merida!

Marble floors do mean that noise carries really badly. This means that when someone walks past your room in the morning you will hear it.

The breakfast was good as well as the swimming pool, the room space and parking. The gym was good but small

The hairdryer has to be replaced and some basic commodities can add to the room for 4 stars standard: coffee and mini bar in the room. There’s only a bar serving dinner and lunch but no restaurant A swimming pool bar would add value to the experience.

Great hotel, staff super nice and helpful. You can park your car at the underground parking paying 10 euro per day.

I don’t get it why the pool during the summer time is opened only at noon. The hotel is not close to the city Center, so we choose to stay there because of the facilities to compensate the distance and the value, having the pool area available only at noon make us lose all morning. We asked for a blanket and we got one, but unfortunately was not clean :/
