Hotel Zeus

The hotel was exactly what we expected , no bar or restaurant , clean , rooms were ok , price of entry into the site was reasonable and the amphitheatre and arena are well worth a visit , parking was easy , right outside the hotel

The information regarding distances from the hotel were way out of the actual distance to the main entrance. It's a 15-20 minute walk. Bars and restaurants shut between 4-8pm , usual Spain , annoying that we wanted to go later in the year but it states that the hotel has no rooms , I spoke to reception and was told that they are open but you have to contact the hotel directly

Was located in the perfect spot that we wanted. Close to all the attractions we traveled there to see. The room was spacious enough for all of us and it was very clean. Also the bathroom was well equiped and clean.

N/A We got what we were expecting. Didn't have mayor expectations about the hotel, so we didn't get disappointed with what we booked and pay. We had free parking for our rental and we were able to walk to every interest place we wanted to visit. Awesome location if you plan to visit the city!

Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. I would stay again if the swimming pool was available!

I mainly booked this hotel as it has an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace. However I forgot to check if it would be open (mid May) Unfortunately it's not due to open until June. Location was a little challenging, on main road, a bit of a trek from the train station

The property is walking distance to the main attractions. It was hot when we were there so it was great to come back in the afternoon for a swim in the pool. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

The property is starting to show its age. Linen on the bed was clean but had stains and the towels had seen their day - need new ones!

The hotel was extremely clean and close to amenities supermarket, bars and restaurants.

The room was a little smaller than I’d have liked, it was 33 dg on my arrival swimming pool was closed till June, one reason I chose the hotel because of the pool disappointed

I liked the location as it was not far from the center and all the attractions of the city. The reception staff was extremelly nice, professional and accomodating at all time. The swimming pool area was neat and clean and nice.

Breakfast was never ready on time or ever (never seen the bacon and eggs ready !)

Easy to get to by car, with free on site parking, and only 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre of town. Nearby supermarkets for provisions, and bars and restaurants for those who want to eat out. A great base from which to explore Merida on foot, or to go further a field by car. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, value for money hotels in Merida, but without compromising on quality.

I have no complaints. The accommodation was more than satisfactory, and i will be staying there again.

The location was perfect for us, on the route into town from the highway from Portugal. It was easy to find, had free on-site parking which was monitored by security cameras, and was a short walk to some of the historical Roman sites in the city. The check in procedure was smooth, and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself looks a little tired, but is nonetheless clean and comfortable. Our room was of a generous size and had a balcony. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and there were power points next to each side. No complaints about the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate, and what I would have expected for the price we paid. The breakfast room staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel has free WiFi which worked without problem, as did the TV. We found this hotel to be very good value for money.

The hotel has a separate garden, pool and bar area at the other side of the car park. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly this was closed when we visited. I would imagine that during the high season, this would be a lovely place to relax. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Location, close to the town center, easy to get to and easy parking. Room clean and tidy, they even provided soap, shower gel, razors and toothbrush packs.

A little bit run down but the price reflects this.

They provide an excellent buffet breakfast that is very good value for money.

There is one problem the hotel needs to solve. The Hotel Zeus is marked on the Apple map in completely the wrong place. Using the app. for directions, I wasted half an hour going to the wrong location.
