A charming boutique hotel. The owner is an artist and art lover, so the reception area is more like a gallery than a hotel, with some reproductions (Sorolla etc) and lots of original pieces. There is a lively bar downstairs and it is a ten-minute walk to the bars and restaurants of downtown. Exceptional value.
I genuinely can't think of anything. Astonishing value, comfortable, friendly. The only downside is that it is hard to park in these crowded streets but we found a spot five minutes away. But that is a minor quibble.

Stayed as next to the hospital and my Mother had two consecutive days of treatment. The staff were really helpful, let us check-in ahead of time. Room was great, had a massive panoramaic view of the mountains and down to the sea, as you are high above Motril City. Great windows and blinds, so plenty of airflow. Street was quiet at night. Bed comfortable, wifi excellent, bathroom good, ditto towels and bed linen - quilts. There are plenty of shops, bakeries, banks and restuarants within a 5 - 10 mins walk. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent. Menu looks good too. Nil complaints.

This hotel has a reputation for being a very good place to stay if you have to visit the hospital nearby - which was the case this time for us. Really comfortable and the staff friendly.

Third time staying, as my Mother has on-going treatment at the hospital. Love the views as up the hill, so can see the sea and mountains. Room has everything you need. Clean, staff helpful. Breakfast is great. Plenty of shops, restaurants, take-aways, etc within 5 mins walk.

It has the basic necessities (Free wifi, Tv in the hotel room with local Spanish channels and Disney channel for kids, the shower is warm and they give you a little shampoo bottle and a little body wash bottle to use in the shower too, a body towel and hand towels are provided as well).
The only inconvenient it has is that it’s a little bit far from the beach and you have to reach the hotel by taxi from the Motril Bus station or through a 30minutes walk if you can jog a little. The hotel is located near a hospital bus stop but the bus schedule is very limited throughout the day especially at night when it becomes unavailable.
