Urban Suite Santander

Everything about Urban Suites Santander was amazing. We stayed (as did some of our friends) for a wedding in the area. The location is perfect to explore Santander and walking distance to everything, including the ferry that will take you over to Somo. The cleaning ladies are so lovely and helpful and keep the place spotless. Other reviews have complained about noise, but we didn’t have any problems at all. We left our bags in the lockers in the hallway, and came back to find the code didn’t work. However, a quick phone call and all was sorted, and the helpful lady even phoned back to make sure everything was ok. Would 100% recommend - we will definitely be back.

Location was great.

Being at the back of the building, the upstairs toilets outlets all seemed to come down a pipe on our wall!! Constant flushing. Safety deposit box didn't work, we got a key but still didnt work.. Door to toilet/shower area didn't close as a little privacy on the toilet isn't too much to ask for and also to take a shower in private. These issues were sent to booking com. I also got to see all the other rooms on our floor and we got the least favourable room.

The decor was modern, tasteful, and functional. It was a delight walking into the room at midnight after 36 hours of disruptive air travel.

Maybe show a photo of the entrance from the street. Not easy to find at midnight!

We spent one night at Urban Suite Santander and stayed in Paris room. The design was really cool, lots of attention to detail. The bed was very comfy, the room was very clean and spacious. Also very well situated, close to the stations and to the city centre. The staff was also very helpful and quick to respond.

Bathroom sliding door was broken so couldn’t close it. Staff was aware but had no time to fix it before our arrival. All direct communication from Urban Suite went to spam for some reason (verse vice as well) so if you use gmail check your spam folder if you don’t receive anything within 24 hours of your arrival.

Beautifully decorated apartment. Good central location. Easy access with details sent promptly.

Noise is a small issue, we brought ear plugs so nothing too much but would recommend them. Bathroom could do with a bit more privacy on both the window (vinyl on window would be good as blond not perfect match to have down constantly) bathroom door also very transparent and was unable to be closed during our visit.

Self check in was easy with door codes emailed in advance of stay. Property is central and close to all attractions and shops. Room cleaned daily, excellent shower with plenty of towels and toiletries. Do remember bathroom is open to bedroom with glass doors

Kitchen/galley area very compact and located beside bathroom but has most of what you need for short stay except bread knife

Great location, attractive and comfortable apartment, spotlessly clean. Coffee, tea and sugar provided daily. Fridge, fan and hairdryer provided. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and proficient.

The bathroom cleanliness and facilities were great but there is little privacy so would not suit everyone.

Location, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness. The housekeeping lady was lovely! Staff were very quick to reply to any queries.

No privacy for bathroom/shower as its glass doors. Perfect for a couple or solo person. The noise from upstairs may put people off here too.

Exactly as shown in pictures. Huge clean room with big bed, sofa, balcony with table and chairs. Kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, nespresso machine, plates, cups, etc. Iron, hair dryer. No aircon, but it's not needed in Santander, there's a fan though. Public paid parking right next to, I recommend installing the app 'Interparking' so you get quite a discount. Centre location, lots of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. To enter the building and rooms there's a code system, so you don't need to worry about keys or cards.

Just a minor detail, we run out of shampoo on the last day, we could have done with one more bottle. This is not a negative point, but bear in mind the bathroom door is glass, it's not visible from the bedroom though. So maybe don't take your first date there :)

Really beautifully decorated apartment in a cool building, they have thought of everything you might need for a short stay. Check in was really easy and communication was really clear. Everything in the apartment was comfortable and well maintained. We really felt like we were staying somewhere much more expensive!

With its central location the apartment does have quite a bit of traffic noise outside.
