the location was great. Also it was immaculate. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay perfect. Also I traveled with my small dog and it was nice to have dog bowls and a bed in the room.

I just felt 25€ for my dog a bit much. I was solo. I could have had two people in the room. €25 is a bit high for one night. also €24 to park the car. again just one night. imagine staying more than one day? it would not be economical. it came to nearly another 50% of the price of the room.

The hotel is located at the edge of the old town and is relatively straightforward to access by car. Although the hotel offers paid parking €27 per night), we opted to park in the large free parking lot about 20 minutes walk outside the old town. The hotel has an attractive interior with a restaurant and bar. There are also several lounge areas to si in. The hotel was ain a fairly good location for the major sights in Toledo, although everything required a 10-15 minute walk go get there.

Our room was a bit dark with the window looking out on a small central courtyard. The bathroom was very cramped for space and could probably have done without the bidet. The door handle for the bathroom was a faux antique one and jutted out when the door was open, causing us both to svrape ourselves painfully on it. We had to wrap it in a towel to prevent further injuries.

It is a lovely hotel with a distinctive character that is in keeping with its historical location. However, it is not short on modern conveniences, and is very comfortable and welcoming. It is in a great location to explore the city on foot.

At 27euros per night, it is the most expensive parking we have encounteted during our roadtrip and although very secure, it is a very tight space to access. The room, whilst comfortable, was on the small side.

The hotel is really charming and the bar area is cool and relaxing. We stayed in July so it is very hot and therefore good to be able to sit there for some time. Good breakfast and nicely presented. Our bedroom and bathroom was very clean. Great location for walking to the key areas. Perfect for a city break.

We were a little surprised when the bar and restaurant were not open on Sunday at all. We did feel that this facility should be available to guests throughout their stay. Also when we checked in the receptionist told us we had been upgraded, that was a welcome addition, however when we went to our room we did feel it was very ordinary and couldn't make out what the upgrade was, it definitely wasn't a suite and there was no view. So we felt disappointed.

We’ve stayed here many times - so we really like this hotel! The location is superb and staff, all really friendly and attentive - nothing was too much, for anyone. . Was very happy with room we were allocated.

The cleaning of rooms was slow - because we had our dog with us (and because the weather was so hot) we went back to our room around 3pm and it still hadn’t been cleaned.

EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR TOURING TOLEDO. CAR PARKING VERY EASY AND SO CONVENIENT AND NOT TOO EXTORTIONATE PRICE GIVEN LOCATION. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD WITH A WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCTS. STAFF WERE REALLY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND PLEASANT. ROOMS QUIRKY. LIFT FACILITIES ADDED BONUS. LOUNGE AREA NICE TO SIT IN. WIFI FREE AND WORKED WELL.

THE BEDS COULD HAVE BEEN MORE COMFORTABLE. LOADS OF PILLOWS AVAILABLE THOUGH. SOME ROOMS NOT VERY BRIGHT. BAR COULD HAVE BEEN OPEN ALL WEEK FOR SOME HOURS.

location and reserved parking are excellent. the Italian restaurant in the hotel is good also.

Our first room did not have twin beds as reserved and confirmed in writing. We could upgrade to a “cave room” for euro 80 per night extra……Fortunately later (with a friendly receptionist) we could have a transfer to a room that had all we booked ans paid for.

We had a wonderful stay, the location was fantastic, right in the centre of Toledo. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay there again. Tony and Sue Abbey

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive at all times.

Located centrally, at the base of the hill leading up to the cathedral. The staff were extremely pleasant and the room was large, the bed comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. I left my jacket in the room and the hotel arranged for it to be delivered to my home in Portugal. It arrived just 3 days later.

Nothing not to like.

This is an exceptionally nice small hotel. The common areas and guest rooms are very charming, and the staff are very helpful and kind. I especially appreciated the location — close enough to walk the most popular sites, but a little bit off the beaten track as well, so it is quieter and not so mobbed with tourists. There is a lovely park right across the street with a beautiful view of the river for evening walks. The hotel also has a good bar and lounge area with cold AC, cool drinks, and great service if you need a break from the heat in the Toledo summer. I had the breakfast only once, but it was excellent, with lots of choices including things like salmon (lox), a variety of fresh fruits, cheeses, pastries, and really good coffee.
