Friendly staff Very good price and quality. The lady at the breakfast is very pleasant and welcoming for the guests.

If large groups have a party in the hotel, it seems not recommended to have a meal as per the hotel staff. The church bells are very loud, not recommended to have the windows open.

Pristinely cleaned, bright white and cheery room in traditional Swiss gingham decor. Very good, solid breakfast included in overnight stay -- the local porridge delicious! GF bread available! Attentive, excellent staff! Excellent location with train access to Lucerne and Lautrebrunnen. Quaint, old world key system -- still works!

Need more gentle soap and shampoo for shower/bath.

For switzerland thus is great vakue for money. Old fashioned but charming and well maintained hotel. Like the old days when we could afford to stay longer in this beautiful country. Very nice staff especially at the breakfast and GREAT food in the litte classy restaurant.

The rooms are Just at the restaurants terrace. So noisy at night. Fortunately they stop the show at 23.30 but this is not very relaxing.

We booked this Hotel to get away from the city centre of Luzern, where we spend a day exploring. For that purpose the hotel is excellent and very affordable. The location is ideal to explore Mount Pilatus, and we drove to Kriens for cable car next morning. The staff is amazing, and the lady hosting the breakfast was really really nice. Breakfast was included, and with multiple choices.

There’s a Restaurant in the Hotel, but we did find it a bit expensive for late dinner we wanted to enjoy. Therefore we walked to the pizzeria nearby.

Triple room was clean and had enough space to stay in comfort. Loved the breakfast room which is quite old and traditional. The breakfast itself was also quite nice and the service super friendly.

The floors in the room above us were a little creaky which is normal with an older hotel but meant that you hear the people above moving. You couldn't hear any voices so pretty quiet otherwise.

Excellent place to spend a holiday! We had a family room with 4 beds. The room was super clean , spacious, and comfortable. We had a delightful breakfast provided by the kind Marie. The hotel has a restaurant with traditional local food and we can't recommend enough, everything was so tasty and the service was excellent.

The location is great as only 15 minutes walk from the Pilatus cogwheel train. People there are very nice - big big love for the lady taking care of the breakfast. she is extremely nice, super careful, speaking several languages. we loved her! the hotel is simple, fine - not too expensive for the long weekend in Switzerland. good choice

Clear communication before arrival. Good location, close to the station. Good choice on offer for breakfast. Quiet. We stayed here to be close to the Pilatusbahn and the guest house was near enough to walk to Alpnach.

May get hot in the summer, no air conditioning

Check in was very smooth and simple, the room was simply decorated but squeaky clean and quiet (my room was located on the back of the hotel). Solid breakfast with no frills.

The parking spots closer to the entrance are frequently taken by the restaurant guests, if you have luggage the car might end up a bit farther. You can temporarily park in front of the hotel, tough.

The stuff of the hotel is the heart of it. All of them were so kind, attentive, and friendly. They made the stay amazing. All around, there was so much detail paid.

The menu of the restaurant was not very diverse. Great for meat lovers, I guess, but no suitable for vegetarians.
