Hotel Belmont

Everything!! We arrived at 1 AM, they put the keys and check in form in the receptionist so we can straight to go to our room. Hassle free. With the classic exterior building, surprisingly the interior is super modern. The location is perfect. Few steps to kids playground, pharmacies, supermarket, train station, and 10 minutes walking distance to cable car to go to Titlis. The breakfast is simple but heart-warming. We always late to have breakfast but they still give us the best service. Excellent!!

Great location, beautiful views,! Very close to a lake, and walking paths. Nice view from the balcony. We did not have time to have breakfast and took it away, however, it was fresh! tasty! The location is a bonus.

The room was tiny for a couple. It was not really a double room. A bit overpriced for what you get, the beds were not comfortable, and we could not really fit with bags. One night was fine but not for long.

Manager accommodated us for early checkin due to bad weather, which was appreciated. Very comfortable room. Good range of breakfast options for me although no gluten free bread options for my husband

Breakfast- despite us pre-notifying, no gluten free options, which I don’t think is good nowadays since the availability of breads is common in supermarkets and could be kept in freezer for when needed.

Overall good experience. Close to the town centre train, cable cart and easy to find. Very clean and attention to the details. Relatively quiet inspite of being close to the train station. Recommend this hotel if you are looking for a 3-star accommodation in Engelberg which is certainly a place worth visiting. The glacier is amazing!!

Small room but seems to be the norm for Switzerland for this price range.

I was not able to use the wellness facility because there was no-one to switch it on The 3-minute eggs at breakfast had clearly been cooked for a lot longer than 3 minutes :-)

The hotel personnel was very nice, thanks to Brigitta she was very helpful! We booked a 3 bedroom appartment with balcony, it was clean. A small but nice terace in front of the hotel and a spring behind it. Walking distance to the Titlis mountain. Nice view to the mountains.

Close to the railway, but it did not bother us.

We had the large suite in the attic. It was very convenient for a family with a toddler. The balconies were comfortable and offered a nice view. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was renovated, with a huge bathtub and nice shower. The kitchnette is very small, but practical for simple things, like parents needing to prepare food for babies, etc. The location was fantastic. Overall we would not hesitate to return.

A detail: those wishing to use the microwave need to take it out and plug it. The breakfast was very simple.

I like almost everything, especially those decorations in the lobby, room are so nice and creative

The bed fram is not strong, my back got pain next day because the mattress was sinking a bit.

The location is good as well as the staff who greeted us and helped us readily with all our questions relating to touring the town and carrying out all kinds of activities around.

I cannot think of a service that was not likable.
