Bernerhof Swiss Quality Hotel Gstaad

Everything was fantastic. Location is amazing to visit Gstaad town. Right by the train station but still super quiet, with the window open even. Free parking right in front of the hotel with easy access by calling them. Breakfast was fantastic, so many options. Room clean, spacious, comfi. With big balcony. Staff super friendly. Pool and spa area were great too after a long day in the mountains! Absolutely would return and can recommend.

Great location next to train station and taxi stand. Cozy lobby. Room, closet, and balcony was spacious, comfortable beds. Sound proof, did not hear train. Personalized breakfast was included.

Bathroom, room 136, in need of renovation. Plumbing missing so one could not take a bath in bathtub. Walls and door in need of paint as showing dirt. Towels old and rather rough. Counter, faucets clean upon arrival but floor was not.

The hotel is in the best location, it’s opposite Gstaad train station and right next to the main promenade with all the bars, restaurants and shops. Our room had an amazing view and the staff were extremely helpful and gave some excellent recommendations on where to eat, drink and ski. The Spa was also top notch! As well as the hotel’s chalet interior design and parking.

Our room’s bathroom was quite small and dated. Our bed wasn’t the comfiest but the pillow and duvet was lovely. The sauna and steam room can only be used after 3pm. We went to the spa early in the morning it would have been nice to use those particular facilities then.

Perfect hotel, with fantastic atmosphere! Parking in 2 steps from hotel, very qualitative food (but choice is small). My stay was in out of seasos, maybe this is a reason, why choice is not so big.

Very strange, but room service not provided. Information abot hotel rules on the hotel web site, is only on german. Would be nice to see it on english.

The location is excellent! Staff are extremely tentive and helpful made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast very fast and according to our wishes.

Maybe check out the ventilation as food smells were entering the room areas.

poor table selection with a reservation they could have shifted reservation but the filled restaurant and placed using a very poor table in the center of the room open to the kitchen.

Rooms are really nice, spacious and their house keeping is very good. Although their breakfast spread is less but their food taste and preparation is excellent. Further we really liked Bernerhof restaurants food quality & taste much better than the other nearby restaurants.

Excellent central location with parking in front of the hotel. The room was comfortable and very clean. Friendly and efficient service, both at the reception and in the restaurants. Great breakfast and delicious food in Chinese and Swiss restaurants.

We were disappointed with the spa opening hours: apart from the pool, the sauna and steam room opened at 3pm, and due to Covid restrictions, there was a queue for both. The facility was also closed for a while due to a technical problem, so we couldn’t enjoy it as we wanted. The mattress was very hard and pillows uncomfortably flat. Restaurants were great but pricey. Otherwise it’s a great hotel.
