Geniesserhotel Le Grand Chalet

The staff were all really lovely, the receptionist, the cleaning staff, the chauffeur and waiters all offered great service. The room was big and the balcony was lovely to relax on overviewing the mountain. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant La Bagatelle which was also excellent even though a tad pricey at 24 CHF for a small desert but the food was delicious and service was excellent as well, the only little detail that would have been nice would have been a little candle or something on my partner desert as I had told the hotel it was a booking for his birthday but maybe I should have told the restaurant, and it is really a detail that doesn’t take away from the amazing time we had there! We will definitely be back!

We loved everything, the two things that could maybe be improved are the pillows which are quite soft and being 8 months pregnant, I would have liked something a bit more supportive, and a little coffee machine or at least a kettle in the room would have been nice as well. But again we loved everything and will definitely be back!

Location, and service. A wonderful spacious room, with a stunning view. we would wake up early every morning excited to be in the balcony. Clean facility, and great catering. The staff made the stay memorable. they would book Resturaunt’s, drive us up and down to downtown, lights our fireplace, recommend attractions, to name a few things they did. Always smiling, always helpful. The cheerful staff made the stay worth repeating. Fabienne, Carol, Marion thank you 🙏🏽

it’s not luxurious, but Cozy and spacious compared to a similarly priced 5 Star.

very nice and clean. it’s perfect for honeymooners and couples for great time. location is perfect and view is beautiful specially if you take a Mountain View room. it’s relaxing.

Very welcoming staff with a smile on their face at all times, trying to make themselves helpful. Traditional, varied and delicious breakfast satisfying everybody’s wishes. Nice spacious rooms in alpine traditional style with a beautiful mountain view.

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions over the last 5 years and the property and staff never fail to amaze. The views are spectacular and the location is just far away from the main town to provide a peaceful and serene atmosphere, while also close enough to be easily accessible. The sauna/ steam facility is great to unwind and warm up after a long day outside. The restaurant is a must visit for a delicious and exotic meal.

Le Grand Chalet is situated above, but easy walking distance, to Gstaad Village. It has spectacular views, an outstanding restaurant, lovely spacious rooms with balconies, and best of all the most welcoming and kind staff.

Beautifully located on top of Gstaad with a stunning panoramic view. Calm surroundings while still being close to the center by foot or hotel shuttle service. The service and staff was top notch, with everyone doing their best to make you feel at home. The restaurant was amazing too.

They was very kind and upgraded us to a bigger room. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, the view from the balcony is wonderful. The breakfast is good. The staff super friendly and helpful. The villages around are very beautiful.

Nothing to mention

Location is great with a view over Gstaad. The hotel staff was really warm and caring. Great restaurant food and the terrace in the morning is simply a bliss. Very good anti-COVID measures in the restaurant.
