Hotel Christiania

Great hotel in a central location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good modern facilities.

We were a late check in and the sign on the desk directed us to a phone number that went to voicemail. It was explained later there was a sign by the entrance door directing us to inquire at the bar next door that had our room keys. It was not a big issue to ask around and find out the arrangements, but if the sign on the desk had clearly stated ask next door in the bar it would have saved a few minutes of confusion.

well located, very friendly staff, breakfast good enough,lovely views from the rooms and receptionist Stefanie is very helpful with everything that she can help and always with a smile.

no problem at all:) maybe heating is a bit high in the rooms, I turned it off and still felt warm so I had to sleep with an open window but to be fair I forgot to tell reception or anyone about it, so I’m sure they would have solved it quick because the attention and service was great:)

The single room was really superb. It could have easily fit a double bed, it was very spacious with a fixed seating sofa, wardrobe, desk, and nice lighting and decor. The shower was basic but very good. Breakfast was terrific in this hotel, with a great choice of bread and hot scrambled eggs and bacon as well as a very good coffee machine. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I ended up coming back to stay a second night.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming but the hotel was only partially staffed, so if arriving late it is necessary to pick up the key at the pub next door.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, right in the town and near the lifts. Even the single bed room was fairly spacious and comfortable.

The building and the rooms are a bit old fashioned. And there is a weird system, where for each room there is an actual room key and a second 'take away' key, which have to swapped at the entrance, when coming and going.

Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a small balcony, too. The welcome was warm and efficient. We received the Saas Pass rapidly and we were offered the possibility to leave our luggage after check-out without even asking.

As a British citizen, I always miss not having a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. However, this is not the norm in Switzerland.

A simply excellent place. Overwhelmingly hospitable personal, a great pub and a restaurant in the same hotel, located just in a center, minutes away from ski lifts, good breakfast, wellness area included. Thanks for an enjoyable weekend.

My room was just above a disco and it was impossible to sleep for part of the night

We stayed at room 54 that we requested at check-in, and it was excellent. Room is very spacious, there's a dedicated corner for the big bathtub, and the terrace is very big as well. The hotel has a detailed plan of each room at the website that helped a lot when picking a perfect one :) The pick-up at the bus station was also well-organised Breakfast is good (croissants, buns, cereal, hams, cheeses) with a possibility to order scrambled eggs & bacon. Spa area is small but cozy with a steam room, a sauna and some shower heads for contrast showers

It would've been great to have a kettle in the room or a tea service option.

Would have loved to have access to tea/coffee making facilities after breakfast - either in room or in the breakfast area.

- Very nice and helpful reception/restaurant staff fluently speaking multiple languages, no problem with communication. - Spacious and comfortable room. - Room and bathroom very clean, nothing to complain about. - Stunning mountain views. - Perfect location right in the town centre.

- A bit limited breakfast options with no warm food (not even scrambled eggs) and no vegetables (e.g. tomato, cucumber). - We didn't want anyone to touch our belongings so we left a "do not disturb" label on the door for the day to skip the room cleaning, but the cleaning was done despite the label and the label was removed by the staff.
