Green World NanGang

Room was clean, neat and well presented. Facilities in the room were excellent, including a USB charging socket. The staff were helpful, polite and accommodating - and they were happy for me to have my (clean) bicycle in the room, which was great. They responded very quickly to any enquiries I had prior to my visit.

The breakfast had many hot options. These were Asian focussed - which of course is completely reasonable for a hotel in Taipei, and the selection they offered is probably perfect for local guests. My own breakfast preferences are muesli/fruit/yogurt. There was cereal, but limited to cornflake-type cereal. There was fresh fruit, yogurt and milk, which was great - and there was simple toast and jam (or mini-croissants). There were simple teabags and a coffee urn. So, overall, breakfast was perfectly OK, but not outstanding (for my own particular tastes, that is).

Exceptional if you can get it on a discount. Conveniently close to Nangang MRT and high-speed rail. Stayed 5 nights, staff was incredibly helpful. Room was nice and cleaned daily, and can be made as cool as I like. Lots of lights you can turn on and off individually. Bed was comfortable. Washroom was nice, with a smart toilet, and it had all the essential stuff. And a tub if one wished to use. I also used on-site self-service laundry, was convenient for me.

A bit weird that even with the door closed, you could still see inside the washroom through the side. It was convenient to have the same wifi network for the entire building but it did get randomly disconnected a few times when I was in the room.

Bright and clean rooms and great proximity to the train station. Fairly close walking distance to markets and breakfast restaurants as well.

Breakfast was the same meals served over the few days, and wouldn't be worth it if we had to pay extra. There were some days that the coffee was served cold and/or the congee quite cold as well.

I like the location because it's near TaiNEX2 which was the venue of our Convention. It's just walking distance to TaiNex. And very convenient too from NanGang Train Station and HSR. I also like the food during breakfast especially the fruits and salad because they always come in very fresh..

A big bed and a bathtub were good for relaxing and resting. The breakfast is usually buffet but due to the covid situation they changed it to a take away box, along with some warm soup, coffee and juice, which was quite good!

The first night I could heard people speaking in the other room, they were not even shouting or laughing loudly. I guess the sound proof was not so good, at least in my room.

I'd love to try their other branches in the future.  Ps. I stayed at the Deluxe King. (My room rate didn't include breakfast, but I'd love to try it next time.)

Pity: * It's at least 10min walk from the nearest MRT Station, inconvenient for travellers with large luggage. * Apart from the Mall/MRT, there are few stores and restaurants near the hotel.

The room itself is very comfortable and it had a nice TV and bathroom. The bathroom had an enclosed shower and a bathtub which is very nice. The AC worked very well and cooled down the room relatively quickly. The location is very close to the Nangang MRT/HSR station.

Though the location was convenient, there was not much else around there besides construction.

The location is great. Near all the stations. Staff is very friendly and professional. Huge room and bathroom. Nice packed breakfast.

Does not have the feel of a 4 star hotel. Old frayed rugs with stains in hallways. The couch in our room had stains on. There are only two shampoo and shower gel sachets in the bathroom. Block out stickers on windows prevent you from seeing the beautiful Mountain View… windows do not open.

I like the quietness of the environment. Within 10min walk to Nan Gang train/MRT/HSR station. Fairly convenient from TaoYuan airport, and too Nan Gang exhibition hall.

There aren't convenience stores/cafe/shops around the hotel. Only at the Nan Gang station.

Location is very convenient for business trip. The room is very comfortable for tired people.

WiFi is not stable and commonly disconnection. It not good for work. There is a construction site near the hotel, where gangsters gather, it is a bit dangerous for girls to walk there in the night.
