Hotel Amber Pattaya

This is a new hotel in a central location with excellent staff and facilities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms well appointed.

Do not take the smaller rooms on the backside of the hotel as the neighbouring nightclub subwoofers are pounding until 3.30am every night. When they finally cease, the roosters from the local Residences behind the hotel start up. I had friends staying in pool view rooms who didn't hear this noise, so I recommend those rooms if staying here.

- Amazingly comfy bed and enjoyable room layout with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. - Value for money, felt so luxurious for the cost with lots of facilities on site such as spa, pool, gym, sauna, pool bar and shop. - Great location, near shops, restaurants, pharmacies and spas. Short walk to bars if desired. Beach was a couple blocks away (10 min walk). So much within walking distance. - Good breakfast, optional change of 199 Bhat if not included in room rate. Vegetarian options too.

- Plug sockets too stiff to use adaptors so had to use USB outlets - Final cleaning touches could have been better (coffee cups a bit dirty) - Could have more hot options for vegetarians.

The proximity to everything is in a great location. the staff were lovely. The service was great Lovely pool area and the gardens were stunning

The menu is very limited. Only ice cream or fruit for dessert. So if you feel like coffee and a cake you have to go elsewhere. Rooms were lovely but desperately need some drawers for storage. We had to keep asking for more toilet paper because they only leave a small roll and sometimes you get Thai belly lol. Would have been nice to have Foxtel so we could keep up with Aussie news and watch more choices of programs. Other than that we loved the room and the pool view

Lovely hotel did not eat there but had a couple of drinks pool area was good staff are nice yes I stay there again but not at price a paid the room was good size could not fault the size the did let me into my room earlier so thanks the staff for that lobby area very nice it's set in lovely grounds area and it's in a good place 2 minutes walk and you are all bar area so no noise at all nice and quiet staff very helpful

Not enough clothes hangers but that just not in that hotel it's all over safe was about on the floor which is no good if your are old and have bad knees no iron are ironing board not any cupboard space for clothes stopping there for 17 days had to leave clothes in my suitcase rooms do need touching up in placers with paint the corridor with the laminate flooring need to be ripped up totone not a good match don't let it put you of about what have commented

Location is the biggest advantage of this hotel, close to the walking street yet far enough from the outside noise and traffic. The hotel is clean and new. The staff are friendly, and their hospitality is appreciable. The room size is sufficient for a solo traveller or couple traveller. There is a shuttle service, using a small covered pickup vehicle to pick you up or drop you around the area.

Nothing material. However, I wish that the hotel's restaurant had more food options on their menu, preferably halal food. There is no air conditioning in the corridors on the upper floors, hence it is humid till you reach your room.

Second time staying here and again I was very pleased. The staff was eager and friendly, especially the porter Ben, who would even kindly greet you on his motorbike on his way to work. Room service did an excellent and constant job cleaning every late morning and did an additional round later in the afternoon should you have missed the first opportunity due to being occupied in your room. Still loving all the greenery around the pool and entrance. My best regards to the gardener who diligently tended to his plants. The recessed location of the hotel once again made the stay comfortably quiet, while still being in the near the action of Soi Buakhao. Amber Hotel still stays on top of any consideration for my next stay in Pattaya.

There was some construction work done during the day, which I mostly blame on traveling during low season. This work is very much needed though, as signs of the hotel being "lived in" did start to show, compared to my last stay. Some loose tiles at the pool, staining in the rooms or uneven flooring in the corridors due to guests walking around there while still wet from the pool. Mostly damages that happen by a few inconsiderate guests.

Great new rooms, good layout, great staff, good food - stayed here just after covid and it was great value for money, nowdays they are putting the price up which is fine, but at this price point now there are many other properties out there for the same money... overall have stayed twice and will stay again... staff are very helpful. room service is very flexible to clean your room in the morning or aftnoon, room service availble until late, good pool etc etc

When i came off a long flight i arrived about 10am and was told to wait until 2pm for check in.... which is fine i understand, but i had paid upfront and requested a slighlty earlier check in via email if available, or even just to use the pool until my room became available... and they would not even let me check in and use the pool whilst i waited... which after a long sweaty flight,,,, i basically had to go to another place just to get a shower......

Very friendly staff, clean hotel with a luxury flair.

Unfortunately the hotel seems also to attract some cheap folks. For example some younger "gentlemen" prefered to make their telephone calls towards home in the lobby using the hands-free function of their mobile. Unfortunately, the hotel staff also treated these guests like kings and let them have their way. Instead of making a clear announcement and thus taking over part of "gentlemen's" education, a thing their parents have criminally neglected. Some guests had to loudly show off their bluetooth speakers in their room and on their balcony to bring the surrounding rooms a bit closer to the tech progress as well. Also some bar on the nearby alley tried to attract/lure customers by playing music extra loud.

The staff at the hotel was exceptionally kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable than we had anticipated. The overall quality of the hotel exceeded our expectations, adding to our positive experience. We commend the team for their outstanding service and attention to detail. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional.

We had been eagerly waiting for our trip to the hotel with a pool. Our excitement was through the roof when we finally got there. But our enthusiasm took a hit when we found out that the pool closed at 9 pm. We had been hoping to enjoy it all night long but our dreams were shattered. However, we decided to make the most of our time and had a blast while it was still open. We made precious memories that we will cherish forever.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from restaurants, shopping malls etc. There's a car park in the basement. Checking in went smooth; staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is relatively new and that makes the rooms are still modern and clean. The bed is huge, although I found the matras on the soft side. Overall it's mostly quiet. Breakfast has a decent choice of dishes (Asian and western). Didn't use the pool or the gym, so can't write anything about that.

Pattaya is a party town, so you can expect some noise from bars around the hotel or other hotel guests. Water pressure in the shower is alright, but could be improved.
