Divan Cave House

This place is amazing and the rooms are super comfy, they staff is the best so if you stay in Divan you won't need to take care of anything they do everything for you ! The view from the terrace is amazing especially in the morning when all the balloons are flying ! rooms are very clean and well equipped so you'll find everything you need. The fire place is very romantic and relaxing and if you don't know how to fire it up just call the reception and they will do it for you ! The hotel is close to everything and all the activities offers a pickup-drop off option so you won't need to take a taxi to get to the town ! DIVAN is definetely the best hotel in Cappadocia !

We were recently in Cappadocia for 3 nights and I can safely say that those were our worst 3 nights. It has nothing to do with the hotel facilities but more to do with the Hotel Management and the service providers they work with. The Driver of the Car rental agency that the hotel works with, stole our entire cash and rather than the hotel management helping us out, especially since we are foreigners in a village, we were left on our own. This post is to warn every foreign traveller who is going to visit Cappadocia, to beware and be extra careful of their belongings and not rely on anyone for any help. Also please do not use Chez Kamel’s company AKI taxi, as their driver (Mustafa) is the one who stole the money. Better to use government owned Taxi services and take receipts everywhere.

I liked everything in this hotel ! First of all I want to thank Kenan, Sabir, Eren and Elis because they work so hard to make your trip perfect. They take care of everything from the room service, the trasport to the activities you want to do in Cappadocia. The location is just perfect you can access to everywhere by walk, the breakfast was good you can enjoy the panoramic view while taking breakfast and the staff will make sure you don't need anything. You can also enjoy the view from the terrace and see the LOVE VALLEY just in the front of you ! All I want is coming back soon ! THANK YOU DIVAN❤

Hotel is one of the best in Goreme. The location is great and it has the best views of the balloon flights that you can get from any hotel. The rooms are fantastic and very well maintained. The staff is excellent and in particular Sinam is very nice and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing not to like. The only issue is what makes this hotel fantastic is its position up the hill above town, giving great views, however you do have to be prepared to walk up and down from your hotel to the center of town -- its not a long walk, but might not be ideal for those who have trouble walking.

Breakfast was amazing, staff was very accommodating and attentive, the rooms were very spacious. Beds were firm and large. The tub in the room was AMAZING, just takes a long time to fill as the water did not run super fast. Shower was great as well, the temperature was a bit testy though. Had to find the sweet spot but this is normal for the majority of these hotels. The location is spectacular and the view is one of the best in Goreme. Would definitely stay here again.

The heat was a little hard to control. We turned the radiators off as we hail from colder climate but even when we turned them completely off, they were still putting off a significant amount of heat so we just cracked the windows open.

We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites and it was amazing. No complaints at all about the room, it was clean and had everything we needed and the hot tub was great after long days of activities in Cappadocia. Hotel staff were great, very friendly and helpful with any Qs and also helped us to book some tours in the area (Green Tour with the hotels travel agency which was also great). There is a very good breakfast in the hotel, very nice and friendly guys working there too. It is a mixture of a buffet style with the usual things you might find in Turkey as well as they will cook some eggs to order. Location was really good, the viewing platform of the hotel really is one of the best views you can get of the balloons (I proposed to my GF there :D) and its only about a 10 minute or so walk to the main "strip" of Goreme town.

Really our only complaint is that in our room the WiFi was not very good.

All staff at divan were amazing and were very helpful, even while still in the UK the staff were very helpful on message arranging a transfer from Nevsehir airport. From sitting us down upon check in and going through the booking and local area to helping us book tours including a hot air balloon and sunset ATV tour they exceeded my expectations and gave a memorable stay. The room was amazing and a real experience staying in a cave. It was warm and had ac to keep it cool during the daytime. It was also very clean and the housekeepers did a detailed service everyday. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as we had the most amazing couple of days.

The Hotel Divan Cave House in Cappadocia exceeded all of our expectations. the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to make our stay memorable. However, it was Eliz, one of the staff members, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. Eliz's attention to detail and personalized service made us feel like valued guests throughout our entire stay. She took the time to understand our preferences and provided us with excellent recommendations for activities and dining options in the area. Her knowledge of the local attractions and willingness to assist with any request made our trip stress-free and enjoyable. Moreover, Eliz's genuine kindness and warmth made us feel like we were staying with a close friend rather than at a hotel. She consistently went out of her way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, whether it was arranging transportation, organising a surprise birthday celebration, or simply checking in to see if there was anything else she could do to enhance our stay.

We didn't do our research properly and didn't realise that the balloon flight would be cancelled due to the weather being slightly off , so please don't do the same mistake of traveling all the way to Capadoccia and not see the balloons, check the weather and check the time of the year (off season was super quiet)

1 stayed in Divan 2 nights and it was amazing.. The property is beautiful!!! Abdullah helped us check in and he was very informative. He takes time to cover everything you need to know about the hotel and Cappadocia. He helped us book private tour and airport transfer. He was patient in answering all the questions and offered to help us anyway he could. I chose Divan because they have one of the highest terraces in Goreme and let me tell you the views did not disappoint. The late afternoon and evening in the terrace was so peaceful. Begimai took our drink orders and even interacted with our toddler. She was soo sweet. Truly, all the staff in the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We felt like we were staying at family's house. We can't wait to be back.

The Divan hotel is truly a special experience. The moment you arrive, the staff takes excellent care of you, greeting you so welcoming and taking their time to explain the regions and answering all your questions :). The breakfast is to rave about! So fresh, creative and offers a large variety. I wanted to especially call out Sevval here you was always so friendly and taking fantastic care of us. We had the small double single beds room. From the photos, I was worried that it would feel too claustrophobic but it didn’t at all. It was a small but mighty room, feeling cozy and super clean! I’m general the cleanness in the hotel was excellent. Lastly I want to mention their rooftop terrace! It’s so cute and has one of the best views of the balloons (we have stayed in another hotel before, and Divan’s rooftop really was special). I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to experience the unique cave hotels of Cappadocia!
