Portik Hotel

Central location, close to everything, beautiful rooms and views from the rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast, reliable and fast WiFi, and super clean.

1. I think when the hotel isn't completely booked, they can offer some flexibility in terms of check-out times. I asked them if I could check out 2 hours later (and the hotel was mostly empty), they said they'd need to charge me extra for that. 2. One of the shower door rollers was unscrewed and it fell off the moment I tried to open the door. 3. Given how nice and tastefully decorated the hotel is, I think they can standardize the front desk employees' attire, at the very least ask them to wear a shirt or a simple t-shirt instead of wearing tracksuits.

Portik hotel at Berat in Albania have exceeded my expectations from location, room, cleanliness, and staff which make my stay very special. Room & Bathroom: I was surprised of the room size once I entered, which was big and very comfortable to move around. Every was clean and kept in a good condition. Bed was comfy and I had a good sleep. The room view was on the city facing the beautiful Berat houses on the mountain. Not to forget the washroom which was nice as well and clean. Location & Services: The location of the hotel was perfect because it is easy to find and in the middle of the city which makes reaching most attractions by walking. Under the hotel they have a huge supermarket and parking area as well. There is cafe and restaurant on the roof of the hotel, they have good options of food and of course with amazing view of the city. Overall Experience: If I ever visit Berat again in the future, Portik hotel will be my only choice since I had a great stay.

Location is really good. Rooms are big and clean! Breakfast was ok.

Staff seems that they don’t want to be there. Reception doesn’t know the exchange rate and seems confused when guests want to pay in cash (LEK).

The property was new and quite lovely. The rooftop restaurant was a real bonus and had a great view overlooking the city and old town. The room was very large and spacious and had all conveniences.

The room was somewhat noisy There seemed to be someone moving furniture above us. The hotel was modern and spacious and if they added a gym that would be fantastic.

The location of the hotel is at the centre of Berat. The size of the room was really big. The roof has an amazing panorama view over the city. A big store called CONAD is located in the same building. The staff working at the restaurant are so helpful and active. The breakfast has many kinds of foods. I had an special occasion and they gave me a room with two views.

I didn't like the bathroom, and there was a bad smell. The fan of the bathroom was really noisy. There was no heater, but the guy at the reception has brought one for me.

Breakfast had all it needed and enough choice. Fantastic location for it's price, the Old Town of Berat is literally next to the hotel and to reach Berat castle you just drive straight upwards next to the hotel to reach the castle with your car.

At breakfast could be more choice

fairly new hotel (3 years old), spacious room, huge terrace albeit a bit insipid but can’t fault this hotel. Free underground parking and great staff. Dmitri was great help. Amazing location though the town is extremely small so anywhere in the town centre will do the job. excellent value for money

it was perfect

The location is great and close to the castle, the famous bridges and the old town. The rooms are nice. The staff at the reception were very helpful. There’s a supermarket in the same building. exchange just across the road too. The terrace view is amazing.

The food variety is not enough in the terrace restaurant. The prices were higher than expected. The service is slow and got me bored and the staff don’t smile whatsoever!

- roof top bar and restaurant with a fantastic view! In the evening the bar is visited by a lot of locals, and the athmosphere is super nice. - very comfy beds, super quality bed sheets - very big room (we had a deluxe room) + nice view - nice staff - bathroom is hudge and really good quality - free paking garage - everything is new and has good quality

- breakfast is not exactly fresh at 9:00am, coffee is like water
