Hotel Enkelana

My parents stayed at hotel Enkelana and it was an amazing experience from the moment we booked until they left. I reached out to the hotel several times with questions and they were so quick to reply. They took care of everything we needed before they got there, when I asked if I can pay before my parents get there to surprise them, they said yes but it wasn't just that, when my parents got there, the hotel had prepared a nice note for them. Above and beyond customer service! The room was very clean and very very nice. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice and the food was exceptional! My parents mentioned one of the waiters at the hotel restaurant, Arian, and he was amazing! Also, the lady that helped them keep the room clean, Vali. She was amazing as well! My parents were very sad to leave as they felt part of the family there. Thank you, Hotel Enkelana! See you next year when we all come and visit!

No negatives.

We had a wonderful two bed suite with 180 degree views of the lake. Stunning and plenty of room for 4 of us. Great location on the waterfront. Terraces are lovely

Breakfast at the weekend is a combination of survival of the fittest and feeding time at the zoo. Horrendous with big queues and people filling their plates like it’s their last supper… Workman on the building site next door starting early and washing their paintbrushes in the lake. Unbelievable. It is not the hotel’s fault and they were going to speak with the builders once we reported it.

Had a suite. It was a lovely huge room. View of the lake was memorising. Balcony to sit and soak it up. Room exactly as shown in the photos. Really enjoyed bein in the room. Fridge in room was great for keeping drinks cool. A/c worked really well. Great shower. Hotel was a good size and had a bar with lovely desserts. With windows shut the room was very quiet. Sound proofing was excellent. Outside there was a lively buss but not like sone resorts in other countries where there is lots of shouting and drunken behaviour. It was a lovely atmosphere of people enjoying themselves respectful of others. So far in Albania that has been the vibe. No traffics noise as road doesn’t run in front of hotel. Car park next to hotel. The location was fantastic. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others despite a few negatives.

Pillows were very hard. For English visitors a kettle in room would be nice. Breakfast wasn’t great. The first morning we came down at 8.15 (breakfast finished at 10) and were told the milk has finished. No milk for cereal or coffee! Coffee and tea sat in jugs but they did not keep hot. Generally the hot food wasn’t kept hot. So everything cooled down very quickly. Organisation of the buffet wasn’t very good so you had to join a long line to get anything. There was some variety but no fruit. Swimming pool in hotel was 5 euros. Unsurprisingly there was no one in it! In summer the lake was perfect.

The check in was very smooth, and the staff was very helpful, especially the cleaning lady she always made sure we were provided with towels etc. Our room was very spacious and had amazing an amazing view! Breakfast was included in the price which quite a selection and very tasty, great start of the day!

The bed was uncomfortable as one of the sides kept on sinking every time you would lay on it and the toilet had a quite unpleasant smell.

We stayed in the family suite which was lovely - two separate rooms and perfect for a family of four. We had an incredible view of the lake and mountains. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, although I wish a few bottles of water could have been provided. We really enjoyed the pool and the kids playroom when it was open. The location was fabulous and the check in and check out were quick, easy, and friendly.

The food and service in the restaurant were very average. Their buffet breakfast spread on the weekend was ok but they ran out of a lot of things and there was no coffee. On Monday morning, there was no buffet, just a meager serving of items we hadn't chosen.

The guy at reception was very kind, he allowed us to use swimming pool even it was near to the time when it get closed. The room was very clean, view was superb, bed were very comfortable. All the staff members were very helpful. There was a lot of parking spaces surrounded with security cameras. Location was perfect, everything was near.

The breakfast was poor, there were not very much options what you can choose. The curtain did not cover the window and the sunlight penetrated into the room in the morning. There was not a phone in the room to call reception. The elevator was small.

Location was fantastic. Everything within few minutes of reach. Personnel was happy to accommodate our questions and requests at all time. They went extra miles to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Nice of view of the lake from the hotel, good possibility for the kids to have fun swimming in the lake or in the pool. Breakfast was good and generous, it offered bread, eggs boiled and fired, sausages, pancakes,honey,jam, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, cereals, tea, and orange juice. Cake also was present on the table :). Kids couldn’t get enough of the alb pancakes (petlla) Small suggestions for improvements which could give a good return of investment: Internet connection in the room was too slow but great everywhere else in the hotel. It didn’t stop us from having a great time though ;) I would have been good to offer coffee in the morning in addition to tea. I heard the coffee machine was broken:( Overall, a fantastic experience for the whole family, we will be staying there again and highly recommend it to everyone.

The location is in the very city center and you can reach everything from there. Room was huge, clean and very comfortable bed. View of the lake from the Balcony was the wonderful. Actually even from the room you can see the lake. I also liked that there is enough parking space for guests.

There is nothing that I could say they should improve or change.

It was an excellent experience , everything very clean and propre. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The prices exellent. The room confortable and clean. I can recomend this property to every one that I know and of course I am going back for sure

Everything was great.

Everything was good! Room was clean and spacious! Very quiet! The staff when we checked in and out were very friendly and helped a lot. Makes you feel good when people go above and beyond to help you!
