The decor, colour scheme, fixtures including flat screen tv, reverse cycle quiet split system air conditioning, safe and tea coffee making facilities chosen when they had refurbished, has earned them a five star motel category in my books. We also needed a disability friendly room. They replied to me within an hour, to say that they have allocated a room to suit our needs. We weren’t disappointed. The receptionist, upon our arrival was very warm and friendly also. I didn’t get to order (out voted) from their Indian food menu ( room service or takeaway), alas next visit!

We were pleasantly surprised by the kitchenette facilities. Toaster, kettle, plate, cups etc. The room had everything we needed. Bathroom was very clean. But no storage in there. That is essential particularly for women. Also more toilet paper please. Really liked other essentials like shelving to put suitcases and shoes to keep them out of the way.

The bed was ok short term but probably more support would be better long term.

Very big rooms with ranchslider onto balcony and nice views over historic housetops across the street. Indian owner provides Indian meals as roomservice if required. Handy location next to main bridge over river and short stroll to shops, town pool, caravan park, churches, etc. Very comfy cosy beds.

Forecourt was all concrete, (a little depressing but view side was grasses and pleasant).

A good room, clean, quiet, very comfy bed, great to have the spa as well! Located within very easy walking distance to the town centre. On one of the nights, we ordered an Indian meal from the friendly owners, which was brought to us in our room. It was truly delicious Indian home cooking, and we really enjoyed it. Recommended.

Friendly welcoming staff, spacious and spotless clean room very large and very comfortable with parking directly outside could not fault overall dated but fresh paintwork and wonderful sheets and pillows .. the water pressure for shower and bath and heating were excellent and fluffy towels.

This is what all motels should be like. No frills, but large room, comfortable bed, good bathroom, spotlessy clean, and friendly staff. Also great Indian meals cooked by owners on site. Would definitely stay here again.

The Riverview Motel was situated within an easy stroll down to the heritage main street, and there was a great view from the balcony of the sunset. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with solid walls so that you couldn't hear the neighbours. The host was friendly and cooked really nice samosas!

The room was spacious, bright and very comfortable with a sofa to sit on rather than just the bed. The bedding was great too. It had everything needed for our one night stay including limited kitchen facilities.

While it appeared to be on a side street to a main road it was, in fact, on a main road through town so the trucks thundered through until mid way into the evening. Lucky for us we were doing a balloon flight early the next day (before 6am) and the trucks had not yet re-started their journeys at that stage, so it was quiet from about 9pm onwards.

It was just an overnight stay for a function in Cowra - but we were impressed with the quality of some of the retail outlets, for a smaller town, which were only a short stroll along the street!

The noise made by a group in another room departing at 6.30am - a common problem with some people in these facilities!

Very comfortable / clean & spacious. Friendly staff / quiet & handy to main street just a short stroll. Would we stay here again YES no hesitation at all. Would like to thank them for a fantastic stay we were only here one night but welcomed warmly.

Could not see any river at the river view.
