New England Motor Lodge

Fantastic position, no road noise. View of the pool. Stayed in the self contained apartment. Loved having a bath and a decent sized bathroom. Kitchenette was handy. Beautifully appointed apartment. Need bigger glasses to drink from is all 😊

Bed was a bit “soft” for our liking but comfy enough for short stay. Can’t please everyone in that respect. No screen on the sliding door, but can see it would have been there before the new locking system. Screen would be nice in the warmer months whilst overlooking the pool etc Dinner at the attached restaurant was not bad. Fire was almost out when we arrived and not tended to until we were walking out the door though. Seemed to be plenty of staff to tend to it. Our waitress was a bit “abrupt”. Young lady behind the bar was great 😊

After having a very bad day travelling booked the motel on Expedia and from the minute we drove into the driveway the staff couldn’t do enough for us very friendly exceptionally helpful meals were to die for room was great very comfortable bed decor was great beautiful decor would highly recommend this motel to everyone and would certainly go back there again I would say driving from Cairns to Nuriootpa on SA it was the best of all the accommodations where we stayed at well done New England motel and thanks so much

Nothing everything was exceptional

We really enjoyed our night there - There is a beautifully furnished, comfortable lounge/bar area and the restaurant meals were very good. Lovely old English style furnishings in the lounge bar and restaurant, and the king room was modern decor with a very comfortable bed.

The shower was only half closed in with glass and the water overflowed onto the floor, which really isn't a problem for guests but for the cleaners.

Everything was amazing! The room was immaculate, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, the minibar was well stocked and priced, plus the added benefit of access to Netflix made our stay five stars. We dined in the restaurant on our first night, and the food was amazing. The sitting area with a fireplace created a beautiful ambience. My breakfast of smashed avo on toast was the best I've eaten. The staff went above and beyond for myself and my son during our stay. Nothing was too difficult. I would come back to Glen Innes to stay in this hotel and experience the luxury accommodation and fantastic food again!!

This is a great place to stay. New, modern, everything super clean, comfy beds, snack bar, microwave, kettle, plates, bowls, cutlery, a range of glasses, fridge and everything you need. Aircon. Window that opened with security screen. Great shower and bathroom. In my room I had a view out to the garden (not like most motels where you look out to where your car is parked). I would highly recommend this place. One of the best I've stayed in. Front desk staff were super friendly and organised.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The New England Motor Lodge is hand down the best motel to stay in. Modern rooms, large smart TV’s, all the comforts you would need. Shower pressure is the best I’ve ever had, love that they use dispensers for soap, lotion, shampoo etc, great for the environment and also gives you ample products, instead of those tiny bottles that barely wash one person. Beds are comfy as! Checkin and out easy peasy and staff are super friendly and helpful. If that’s not enough, the restaurant is gorgeous, love the decor and the cosy feel, yep there is a fireplace to sit by with their great selection of wines. Oh the food is absolutely delicious, great menu, I have dreams about the food here. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Cannot fault the place. Well done to this establishment!

The room was very nice, updated with a good bathroom/shower. It had all the amenities we needed and the beds were comfy. Great location too! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Just a very minor detail, which didn't really affect our stay that much - both overhead lights are connected to the one switch and that means we had to have super-bright lights or very dull lamps. Separate switches would have been good, or put in lamps with better illumination.

The room was well decorated and very clean, friendly staff. The hotel was close to town easy to get everywhere.

The price as it was a special weekend -Celtic Festival the prices for the room were more than double the usual tariff. I expected some increase but this was excessive despite booking early. Unfortunately accommodation in the town is limited so there were no other options, price gouging like this should not be allowed.

We travelled up to Byron Bay and returned to Dubbo. Room service to our three bedroom apartment exceptional, comfort amazing, bedrooms wonderful. Private courtyard like at home, was so relaxing. Will definitely return on further vacations north. Thank you for a memorable stay in Glen Innes.

Clean and well kept, could not fault anything other than the bed being really uncomfortable. Not sure if it was the bed or the 10 hour drive prior to arrival. The food was AMAZING! Garlic king prawns and vegetable lasagne were perfect.

Just the bed. Felt very springy and no padding.
