Bishops Lodge Narrandera

We had a forced stay at Narrandera for a night and booked Bishops Lodge 10 minutes before we arrived at the motel. The lady on reception was so helpful and friendly. The room was large, the bed very comfortable, a large bathroom with plenty of hot water and air conditioned. There was a microwave, quite a large tv, ironing board and iron and tea and coffee facilities. The main part of town is a 500m walk down the main street. A Continental Breakfast is included in the tariff and there is a wide range of choices to enjoy in the breakfast room. There are ramps both to the ground and upper floor units in the block we stayed in.

Really loved our stay but had to move on.

The couple managing this motel are working hard and genuinely care about providing an excellent service. Bishops Lodge is well located just on the edge of the main town centre, but still only a five minute stroll to shops and restaurants. At check in we were made feel very welcome and all important information was given regarding on site parking and general information regarding the room. The room was a good size, had been recently freshly painted and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was excellent. In the morning a continental breakfast was set up in a dining room which consisted of a variety of cereals, yogurt, stewed fruit, a variety of breads and a pancake machine, tea and coffee. Bishops Lodge is amazing value for money I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and would certainly stay again when next in Narrandera.

Nothing it was excellent!

Staff were very nice. Room was a basic motel room, but had a microwave, cutlery & crockery. Only one armchair, a 2nd would have been great. Although the table & chairs were good to sit at. Bed was huge & very comfortable Quiet room, even though close to the road. Breakfast was very good.

Just adding another chair would be really great. Getting the luggage from the car to the room, is a little awkward, having to walk up & down a slope. Mind you much better than steps.

Agree with previous +ve comments. Some extra info for those who are still unsure... There are ramps leading to rooms - easy for bags & prams. Undercover BBQ area + microwave in room + cutlery & crockery mean that self catering is possible. Amazingly friendly, helpful & accommodating owners who take pride in their property & service - Nothing is too much trouble. Very generous breakfast (choices of) cereals, milks, juices, toasts & spreads, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit, tea, coffee. Highly recommended

From meeting the gracious Host, Melissa, the experience was over the top in every respect. great room, excellent bed, most comfortable I've slept in our travels in Australia and around the world. Breakfast was more than I expected, which was included in the price. Would definitely stay again and HIGHLY recommend.

Don't think I'll be around this way again soon, so sad I can't stay here again.

perfect location , right at start of main St walking distance to everything very clean . MASSIVE bed , and possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in from any hotel air conditioning was great on a very hot day pool was perfect and BBQ set up great Its not the Hilton but BIG bang for buck . The owners were lovely people . breakfast was really nice , country style

It was an older style motel room but large enough, clean, comfortable and quiet. Great location and easy two minute walk to the Main Street or drive to local attractions. Our host Melissa, was friendly and helpful and while there for our overnight stay, we made use of the bbq facility and the pool. A continental breakfast was part of our room package and plenty to choose from in the breakfast room - juices, cereals, yoghurt, peaches (tinned), variety of bread toast and a pancake maker. Excellent value for money and would stay again.

Location was quiet. Room was large and had lots of natural light. The motel site was also spacious for parking.

Maybe when a place is not full, to space out the occupied rooms for more noise privacy, Then fill in the vacant rooms as bookings occur. Most places you can often hear the adjacent room occupants, albeit muffled. This is the same comment for all and any motels.

Nice and quiet. Super friendly staff. Comfortable room. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast in the morning (my boys were mesmerized by the pancake maker).

Everything was ok and I'm happy with the stay, but if I had to give one observation, it is that the carpet throughout the room looked as if it would benefit hugely from a good shampoo and or steam clean.

We received a warm welcome on checkin. We were advised of the layout and where the continental breakfast would be served in the morning. Our room was very clean and very well presented. Breakfast was lovely, hot coffee, cereal and toast, great start to the day. The hotel is an easy walk into the Main Street. Great owners who are doing a wonderful job
