Camellia Motel

We stayed just the one night during April 2023. The Motel is right on the main road through town and close enough to be walkable distance to the few cafes and clubs in Narrandera. Despite being on the main road we didn't have any issues with noise or traffic during the night. A very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. An added bonus for us was the terrific service from the staff. We left something behind in the room and they posted it on for us later in our trip. Excellent service and highly recommended.

This motel is perfect for a short stay/overnight stay for couple or family. Very clean with lovely, friendly staff who genuinely care about their guests' comfort. So many little details took it above and beyond when it comes to comfort level. Exceptional value for money. The continental breakfast was fantastic making our overnight stay so much simpler, we didn't need to leave the room because we had everything we needed right there. I definitely recommend this motel to anyone travelling through, it was a pleasant surprise to have such comfort for such a reasonable price.

The rooms are small, but if you are only looking for a short stay / stop over when travelling through then what the room lacks in size it makes up for with all the comfort and great value for money. Its very clear that the owners genuinely love what they do and care about their guests.

We stayed there for one night. The motel is conveniently located at the top of the main street so you can easily walk or drive down to restaurants/takeaway. The room was very clean and comfortable with new linen. Well equipped with cutlery, microwave, kettle and toaster, fridge etc. We were given milk when checking in so we could have coffee in the morning which was such a lovely touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

Spacious room, clean, comfortable and with everything I needed for a relaxing overnight stay. Super quiet. I couldn't hear a thing from the room next door and the bed was really comfortable. Great little set up with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. and a super hot roomy shower. Bonus points for the hooks on the shower wall giving me somewhere to hang my clothes. The location of the hotel is also close to shops and petrol stations making it convenient for getting organized for the next day's journey. There was a Pool and Breakfast option but I didn't take advantage of these on this occasion.

There was nothing negative at all about the room. Only negative was how hot my car was leaving the next morning as parking is not undercover but the positive is that parking is directly in front of the room making it easy for packing and unpacking the car.

The room had everything we needed despite being compact. The freshly renovated rooms were tastefully done. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the management was friendly. The town centre is close by and easily walkable. The price was good too so I recommend this motel and would definitely stay here again

The outside of the motel was not very attractive but who cares the inside is what counts.

Location one street from shopping strip, room well laid out with king size bed, modern 3 seater couch, tv, small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, jug, iron, ironing board, ensuite bathroom with huge shower, air conditioner .. all the comforts of home - friendly reception.

Cat was very friendly and helpful. Check-in/out was easy. The room was very clean and and in good condition. Aircon worked fine and the heating helped with the cold night. Parking in front of the room is great for loading the car. I'm happy to come and stay again.

Nothing I can think of. The room was what I had expected.

New spacious bathroom. Very clean. Comfortable bed and couch; convenient coffee table. Parking was available right outside the door. Good location within easy walking distance of shopping area. Although situated on main highway, it wasn’t too noisy.

I needed an overnight transit hotel on my way home from mungo to sydney. Narrandera is a great place to stop for any reason but especially to stop into the red door cafe. The camellia hotel was well priced and perfectly suited our needs. The reception staff were fantastic, welcoming and helpful to any needs we had.

I’m not usually a fan of the drive up to the door motels. As a single traveller it can be uncomfortable to hear people at night outside your door... but that is what you often get in country towns and this hotel was located well. The room are clean and smell fresh but the carpet needs a good dream clean and the kettle can do with a Milton tablet. Very small negatives to what was a pleasant stay.

The host was friendly and helpful. The room was neat and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The environment was quiet. Hot water supply was abundant which provided comfortable hot shower, especially after the whole day's outside activities. Air conditioner was fine. The Wifi was good. The toiletry items were excellent. It's a value for money stay.
