Four Seasons Hotel Sydney

staff were very friendly and helpful

on check in at the 32nd floor the staff member was not able to give us access to floor 32 only to our room. they promised to sort it but we had to do it ourselves next morning at reception.

Four Seasons service is unmatched! The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They do go the extra mile to make sure your stay goes well. I really do appreciate that they can accommodate for an early check in (with prior notice) which is always an expectation at a 5* hotel. The location was perfect - just a few steps away from the rocks and circular quay and 10min from all the shopping. Its surrounded by an array of restaurants and the views of the opera house are amazing.

Really the only thing that was missing is that they provide a scale in the room, or that they have on hand a portable luggage scale that they can send up to lend to guests.

Short walking distance to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and City Central. I initially booked a partial harbour view and was given a room in the lower floor with the view "partially" blocked by the adjacent building. We thus paid extra to be upgraded to a much higher floor with FULL harbour view overlooking the spectacular icon Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The hotel is quite dated to be honest BUT the staff from the bell team to the front desk to the housekeeping to the room service...is friendly, helpful, approachable and always wearing a smile. I love the hotel and will return in future.

* I booked Harbour view room which could see opera house as well very lucky. *　good location in Circular Quay area , walking distant to botanic garden, opera house , cruise dinner , DFS , walk to main shopping street.... everywhere you could reach in 15-20 mins , some area only in few mins. * Luckily that I stayed during weekend , The Rocks Market just next to hotel , 2 mins walking to market could see various vender to selling different products and food. * Breakfast is nice * Light train within City Transportaion just in front of hotel , such as L3 line .... * the tour bus just cross the road from hotel , 1-2 mins reach the sightseeing tour . tour bus get two route with red or blue line all could travel from this bus stop. * Many restaurants around and fast food Stroes , 2 -3 small kiosk at pier side , all within 2 - 10 mins walk.

The cleaning staff went above and beyond! They came in the AM, then again for turn down and always left a little gift. We got bookmarks, body scrub and a cord wrapper. There were always waters and even nice notes! The food and service at their restaurant Mode was truly outstanding! The risotto was to die for. The front desk staff was so kind. When our room wasn't ready because of the early hour they gave us an alternate room just to freshen up and rest until our rooms were ready.

The ONLY thing I didn't like was the size of the rooms. You pay a premium at the Four Seasons, so it would be nice to have a touch more space. But that wasn't a problem and I'd still stay there again.

Exceptional in every way. This is an elegant modern and spacious hotel close to the waterfront on Circular Quay. You are greeted with cheerful Valet parking and valet luggage service to your room. The lobby is so large with comfortable seating and yet quiet even with the Mode restaurant there and lots of people. There is good security present and your key only allows you on your floor and gym/pool room. The women’s spa area with sauna and steam room is luxurious with bath robes, slippers and towels always available. From the spa area you can get to the outdoor roof pool up a stairway. In the other direction there is the spa and through the spa is an impressive gym. The gym and spa are open 24/7. I So convenient! The food is excellent and the front staff are professional , helpful and responsive. It’s such a lovely hotel, you will want to spend all your time there. But there is so much to see and do with the Sydney Opera house , the Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Sydney Botanical gardens, the Museums , the Art Galleries, the ferries of Circular Quay to easily transport you to Manly Beach, Bondi Beach, Watson’s Point and the spectacular cliff walks and all the fabulous shopping nearby

I loved the room. very luxurious. the breakfast was great. dinner was very average. service was amazing overall. staff are all so friendly, helpful and polite. the pool area needs a desperate update seems very outdated in terms of design etc. I would recommend getting rid of the lime green and either putting cream or something with blue and white or yellow and white (nautical theme) to give it a different atmosphere or vibe. Maybe also some music in the pool area would have livened up the experience it seemed a bit dull up there. i loved how the pool staff came by with those beetroot shots though that was awesome. i loved that we were offered water before we hopped back in the car at valet and i liked that the bellboy opened the door for me it was very nice. i think guests appreciate those little things. overall fantastic experience.

dinner was very average (the food)

beautiful and luxurious as you would expect. Love that everything you need is within the hotel - restaurant, bar, takeaway coffee, endota spa, pool etc. Staff all very caring and friendly, high quality products and plentiful selection of mini bar items. Having the wine cooler stocked with ice upon our return to the room was a delightful surprise!

No major flaws! I always wonder why hotels never provide air freshener for the bathroom though… otherwise all other amenities were lovely. Other hotels tend to have the pod coffee machine that does milk too, that would be the cherry on top! Personally neither of us find feather pillows at all comfortable so a more supportive alternative would be welcome for future guests I’m sure.

Best location ever. The Harbour and the Opera House are within walkable distance. Rooms are so great, and the harbour view was so beautiful and romantic, you can never be board of it. Beds are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very good. The lobby is very big and nice. Concierge services is very helpful and easy to approach.

The night/early morning shift reception staff service skills need to be improved for the following reasons; 1) Wake-up call received after 45 minutes from the time that I requested (requested 4:00 AM , received 4:45 A.M). 2) During Check-out, the reception staff checked 1 room only and I had 3 rooms, I did not notice until I was almost leaving to the airport. I went and let the staff know that they did not check-out the other 2 rooms. 3) Luggage service was slow during early morning.

Big and welcoming lobby but mainly magnificent views from hotel room. Nice gym although a bit dated equipment. My review is based on an upgraded room. Original room had great view but was a bit small.

There was bad sound proof to room next door that had a connection (that we didn't use). They kindly moved us to a better room as it was quite disturbing to hear crying children as if they were in our own room. Access to pool only via a steep long and uncomfortable stairway, too difficult for my current problems. A complex handicap elevator could possibly have been used but seemed too much hassle so I couldn't use the pool.
