Veriu Randwick

This was my third stay at Veriu and it lived up to my expectations again. The room was well appointed, with good facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It offers more than a hotel room. I love the balcony for eating breakfast in the morning. It is very close to the shops, which made supermarket shopping easy. Also only a short walk to my daughter's apartment.

Almost everything was great. The first time I stayed here there were blinds on the windows. This room did not have these and, as it was still long summer days, it was hard to get the room dark enough.

Rooms were well sized, bed was very comfortable and plenty of storage. I appreciated the room being equipped with both a front loader washing machine, dryer and clothes so that we could clean and dry our clothes with little difficulty whilst away from home.The oven, microwave and dishwasher in the kitchen were used to make our trip more enjoyable and relaxed. The hotel was a convenient to the light-rail into the city, near supermarkets and a range of restaurants, cafés, pubs and take away restaurants.

The eating utensils and crockery was somewhat limited, needing to be washed after each meal. The furniture in the lounge and kitchen was rather utilitarian, not as comfortable or big enough to be particularly comfortable. The bathroom needs some attention as the grouting is crumbling in places and there is mould throughout the shower on the grout which could be resolved with using Domestos.

The Veriu Apartments provide excellent accommodation at a reasonable price. There are good cooking facilities, it is very close to Randwick Shopping Centre, it is quiet, and close to where my family live.

The wifi was very weak. I have stayed here before and it was fine but not in this particular room. Also I left an item of clothing behind and rang the next day but it had been disposed of.

The studio apt has everything you need: kitchenette with oven, 2 point stove, microwave and kettle, fridge w freezer box, a tiny laundry cabinet with your own washing machine, tv and couch, a balcony with outdoor seating and a table + chairs. Quiet rooms. The cleaners come in daily to make the bed and change any bath towels you leave on the floor. Full room cleaning is once a week. Shops all around you, public transport at your doorstep.

My balcony was facing the shopping centre so I could smell MacDonald's fried oil or ocean breeze, depending on the day. No biggie for me, but some people may be deterred by it, in which case ask to be on the other side.

Hi and good day to you all. Our stay at Veriu Randwick from 28th December 2022, until 16th January 2023, was simply brilliant. All Staff members were polite and ever so attentive to detail. Nothing was too much for the staff. Our Studio Suite was ideal for us. Clean, tidy and had everything you needed. Great shower, wardrobe space, cooking and kitchen amenities and a balcony. The location was excellent for local amenities and was on a major bus and tram route, for ease of travel to where ever you want to go. Staff were more than helpful, arranging taxis and advising how to get to see the glorious sites in Sydney. I would like to extend my thanks to Manager Joe Milne and all staff at VERIU Randwick.  I would highly recommend a stay at Veriu Randwick, Sydney, NSW. Thank you from Brian and Anne.

I liked everything. I did not dislike anything.

I wanted a two bedroom suite with 2 separate toilet and bath which I could not find in other locations so this place was ideal for what I needed. There were 3 adults, 2 adults in main room and me on the second bedroom.

This note refers to the second bedroom. The sliding door of the second bathroom does not slide properly. The side door leading to the veranda does not lock at all. The aircon does not work properly so the heater did not work - I was there in August. The dryer's timer does not work.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was extremely good with public transport to the city and beaches at the door and dozens of restaurants, Woolies and Coles on the same road. The apartment was good value for money. It was clean and there was daily housekeeping done. It was comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasant stay for our family of five.

The apartment needed some maintenance on A/C, dishwasher, doors. Some of it was dealt with right away when mentioned to reception which was awesome, some was noted down for after our departure which is understandable since we were only there for three nights and spare parts needed to be ordered. All in all not a big deal for us and great attention shown by staff.

I stayed in a studio apartment for 12 nights. The apartment was clean, modern and it was very well equipped with everything I needed for my stay. I was delighted that there was a washing machine in the apartment and a clothes line on the balcony allowing me to keep my clothes laundered in the hot weather.

I can’t fault the property. I would definitely stay here again.

The staffs were helpful during check-in and accommodating my needs. All the check-in process were smooth and swift, and checking out also. They allowed me to do late check out due to my flight change, and also helped to store my luggage for awhile. Location wise is quite good. I didn't expect to get a complete room facility: mini kitchen, fridge, with oven and microwave. Not to mention washer and decent balcony. So, pricewise is very worth the money. Coogee is nearby, and direct bus and light train to CBD also. There is a lot of F&B variety nearby, and supermarkets.

Not much I can complaint, everything was okay for me.

We were impressed by this very efficient accommodation near the beautiful eastern beaches of Sydney. Our room had a large bed, little seating area (where we put our daughter's cot), a kitchenette (with stove top, fridge, kitchen sink), washing machine, decent-sized bathroom, good closet space, and an outer porch with a peek at the Pacific ocean. I had a business meeting so took it on the porch while my wife put our daughter to sleep. It's right beside the largest mall in Randwick so even though they don't serve food on site there are tonnes of options nearby at all times of day and night, and of course you all have your own kitchenette. Would be a great place for a family, business, or individual stay if you want to get to the ocean beaches quickly but also work efficiently, and have decent access to downtown Sydney.

Parking garage is a little tricky to get in/out of.
