Brighton Shores

Facilities were great and not overly populated. for example a full sized billiard table seldom used. Indoor and outdoor pool and spa seldom used (but is winter). well stocked library. The proximity was close to trams and transport. Woolies and good eateries across the road. Just so relaxing (and so warm even in winter). Noticed dishwasher leaking and was attended to within a few hours.

dishwasher aged and clunky - too small ofr the dinner plates to wash correctly. Yep that sums up the negatives.

Great sized 2 bedroom apartment, comfortable beds and lounge, great location for attending the Gold Coast marathon, easy access to grocery store, restaurants, cafes and tram line

Better block out blinds/curtains would have been great as the apartment got incredibly light as soon as the sun came up from 6am, this lead to our children waking VERY early each morning of our stay. Better equipped kitchen eg. Salt and pepper , chopping board , better knives etc

For our group of six girlfriends, we really enjoyed the location, view and surrounding food options. Also the fact that we were on 32nd floor meant it was very quiet. View was fabulous. Kitchen was great and the soda stream was very much appreciated. Plenty of towels and drier was very useful.

The furniture really needs to be updated. The very large square table was way too big! The dining chairs were very uncomfortable. The lounge suite definitely needs to be replaced as it also was very uncomfortable.

The outlook/views were great, the unit was spacious with plenty of lights. The kitchen was about the best equipped was have seen. There abundant little nick-nacks like phone/device charges and all sorts of other appliances not usually found in holiday accommodation. Also lots of cleaning products in the laundry/kitchchen/bathrooms etc.

The aircon was extremely noisy - one of he loudest i have come across - such a shame ;(

Location was absolutely perfect. Unit size was so huge, heaps of room. Excellent balcony with an amazing view. Great kitchen, heaps of utensils and cooking items.

No air conditioning. Air conditioning set to heat, couldn't change it. Was super stuffy. No fans in bedrooms. Had to open the doors and put up with traffic noise and sleep on the floor in the lounge.

Location fantastic, Views superb, Tram stop across the street. Room spacious and clean. Pool, spa, sauna all spotless. Really good property.

The pillows in the master way to soft, which was a shame. Would suggest replacing the flimsy cooking utensils. I.e., egg flip poor. Other than that all great, heaps of crockery, cutlery and appliances.

the location is good for me as we are driving, everything was a short drive away.

the roller bed that would not stay still, the dryer was not working properly, the stove was not working properly. the toilet seat is broken needs a few updates but the view is great.

Excellent location. Views are amazing. such a spacious apartment that has everything we needed! would definately stay again

Just a few maintenance items that need attention. The beds are well worn and could do with new mattresses or a mattress topper. shower in main bedroom could do with a deep clean as it is starting to get mould

The unit had all the things advertised on the web and was all I could have wanted. Having kitchen and laundry facilities that work is a big bonus when you are away from home. The pool spa and sauna were great. I was able swim laps and the spa was excellent. The spa was not working on the Sunday but the sauna was and it was enough. The whole complex was clean and with secure parking in a central location it was a great stay.

Very small glitches. The jug in the cupboard was cracked but it held water. I think there is a small leak under the sink as the teat towel was wet. Personally I think I would prefer a shower as getting to a high bath is a challenge. Very small problems

Unit 1407 was very comfortable and beautifully furnished with stunning views. A perfect location in Southport close to shops, restaurants and light rail at front door. Extremely quiet unit considering close proximity to light rail and Gold Coast Highway.

Loved the unit only criticism was the pillows were too high and too hard. Would have loved to have seen a larger screen TV. Other than that, can’t really fault unit. We loved our stay there.
