Room was very spacious with a large modern bathroom separating the main guest bedroom, with a double bed, from a second bedroom containing two singles. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and staff were friendly and unobtrusive. There appeared to be plenty of free parking.

The weather prevented us from making use of the extensive grounds surrounding the hotel. At the time of our stay the hotel was undergoing some major renovation work. Although it didn't interfere with our stay or prove to be an issue it did mean that some areas of the hotel were dimly lit.

It's a third generation-owned property. The family takes pride in their business and is attentive to their guests and their experiences. The rooms were comfortable and clean and offered a stocked mini-fridge. The grounds are beautiful and right along a quiet river with well-maintained paths for hiking and cycling. You can drive into La Roche or take a beautiful path through the countryside. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was local, seasonal, and delicious.

We loved the garden and river and closeness to town. It was very hot when we were there but we had a north facing room 14. So even without air con it was fine. The food was great and the menu du jour was particularly good value. Breakfast had a good selection. The staff were also lovely and friendly.

It is a little shabby in places but that really didn’t matter to us.

Amazing place, please bear in mind that they undergo huge renovation. We stayed in L'insolite which was far away from renovation works but if you stay in the hotel it might be different experience for you.

The 3 services dinner was excellente. Breakfast is good and a particular attention is made to offer local product. Futhermore the hotel has electric cars chargers.

The bed could be more confy.... and changing the room windows might offer a better sound isolation.

The main building has a nice 70's look. We stayed at 1 of the new external "on water" rooms, which was super romantic and comfortable! Everything was clean. The staff was really nice and friendly.

We loved the view, the gardens and location. There are also beautiful trails/promenades starting at the hotel site. Staff is also very friendly, great service. Moreover, the restaurant was great! We had an amazing dinner, seasonal and very well prepared. Absolutely loved it.

The rooms could use some freshening up decor-wise, but they were very spacious and clean. The bathroom was minimal, with a tub and shower curtain. I prefer a walk-in shower.

We chose this hotel because of the electric charging facility for our car, this was great! The staff was very friendly; and the restaurant was super! The location was superb, as we could start our hikes from the hotel

We loved this hotel. The location was beautiful, gardens were lovely and a short drive into the town. Accepts dogs. Room was warm and clean. Had everything we needed.

The breakfast and the dinner are very good. There is a proper dinner table on the room to have your meals and you get serve the dinner at the table with plates and cutlery. That is a plus cause with the covid rules most of the times you end up eating in your room on the bed in lunch boxes, weigh is terrible.
