Days Inn by Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Lapa

Room is quiet ,clean and spacious. Strong Wifi, good shower. Hair dryer, safe deposit, amenities found in the room. Breakfast was excellent. The property location is approx 10 mins ride to the SD airport. Uber charges was BLR$11. The closest Metro station is Carioca which is approx 15 mins walk. Each metro ride is BLR 6.5. Exit B when you return to the property. Exchange money in Lebonon Exchange Turismo in Copacabana. The tour that I booked from hotel is cheaper than online tour booking. Staffs can speak English and helpful especially Lucas. They allowed me to keep my suitcase after check out.

Water boilers could have been better.

The hotel is in the old Centre Lapa district and you get the proper feel of the real Rio. The hotel was very good value for money, the beds comfy and the breakfast was nice as well with good options. What really stood out were the staff though, they were lovely, helpful and cheerful and took very good care of their guests. If you're looking for a hotel that's nice but at a budget price, would definitely recommend.

The hotel was initially very busy so we had a first night on a ground floor room, which was a bit dark but we asked whether we could be changed and got a great room on top floor instead with a lot of light and a nice view - no fuss at all from staff when we asked to change and we only got the initial room due to the hotel being fully booked the night of our arrival.

The room is really comfort, thr staff are so friendly and helpful..i travel alone and i needed to do the chack out lately then the official time...and they approve me to do the chack out more late for free cause the hotel was not full...really appreciate it...thanks!

hotel was great, we stayed for 4 nights over Carnival. breakfast was amazing with lots of selection. clean rooms and quiet (we were 7th floor). they let us check in early as we arrived a few hour early and as it was busy they were happy to let us in the room. staff were lovely.

for me the downside was location, Lapa isn’t the safest and during carnival it became even more unsafe. I have stayed in Ipanema and Copacabana before and this was a completely different experience but we booked late for carnival and had to stay here but as 2 females I wouldn’t stay in Lapa again.

Location is top! Close to everything and no problems to get to GIG airport as you don't drive through downtown. Hotel is quiet and clean. Hot water, wifi worked very well, check-in and -out are fast. Breakfast is good: some fruits, fried eggs, sausages, bakery, granola, coffee/tea/juices. More than enough. The hotel is very recommended to stay. Price is the same as at many other hotels but the quality is much higher.

- during 3 days of stay the room wasn't cleaned including garbage bins. Would be good if cleaning person comes once a day to take off the garbage and put a soap or something. - every day the breakfast food ended up very quickly and people sit and wait 10-15 minutes untill kitchen cooks more. The same with coffee. Always have to wait untill the guys bring more. If you are late for some meeting and have just 15 min to eat you risk not to have the food because it's run out and new is not cooked yet - coffee sometimes is burned (but it's not a big deal actually :))

Although the street may not seem very safe the hotel is well placed to visit the center of Rio. There are restaurants and supermarkets near by. The staff was nice and helpful

Had to change rooms because in the first one the air-conditioner made a terrible noise. Had to clean air filters in the second one. After that the air-conditioner worked fine. Breakfast was terrible. There was variety but very low quality. Bed sheets were old

We stayed here for 1 night before we eventually moved on to our next main hotel for our vacation. Days Inn Is in an easy location will lots of food places within walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was great, there was lots of options and it was tasty and filling. The staff we’re friendly, even though they didn’t speak English, they made a good effort to make us very welcome and explain the hotel facilities.

The bathroom could do with some maintenance. It looks dated and there was some mold in corners. The gym doesn’t have any good equipment. The dumbbells are too light and doesn’t say the weight number on them (we guessed they were maybe 5-10kg). It would be good to have a better dumbbell rack.

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Restaurants and laundromat facilities are nearby. Close to public transport (bus).

Everything was as expected.

Hotel is secure and in a very good location, close to restaurants and bars, but far enough away from a lot of the noise of Lapa. Room was comfortable and clean. Sufficient for my needs. Breakfast was okay. Nice to have. The also had a fully stocked mini-bar which was nice.

Nothing. Good value.
