Lovely and relaxing atmosphere in lobby area, very clean room, good breakfast, smiley staff, very good shuttle bus schedule and services to ski area

Cold water in the pool, more attention to the ambient music during breakfast

The girls from the reception were very kind and they gave us a room with a balcony as a compliment from the hotel. The pool is small but deep enough. The Spa is clean.

Dinner - Not a 4 star dinner for sure. Simple dishes, small variety. Breakfast - The coffee was very bad. It tasted bad, so I had to buy coffee from the bar, which was good. The juice was not really a juice, but water with orange colour - very bad. Also- small variety of bread. Overall - The food there is not their strong side

Do not believe anyone who fail to rate this hotel highly, it is a fabulous place. When we arrived we were the first guests of the season and the only guests for the first night. When we entered our room we were suprised and pleased to have a complimentary bottle of champagne and a large bowl of fruit waiting for us. (we cannot say everyone will recieve these though). The room itself was spotless, spacious and cleaned every day. The people who work at the hotel are amazing, they are so friendly, polite and helpful, indeed the Manager personally showed us around the hotel and spa. It is difficult to single out anyone however the young lady on reception is simply brilliant. She discovered I had a birthday while at the hotel and arrranged for and delivered a cake to our room. (what a nice touch). The hotel spa is spotlessly clean and a pleasant experience. We did not have dinner in the restaurant however for our first breakfast we could order anything we wanted as the only people in the hotel, after that the buffet breakfast was extremely good and varied with any amount of tea, coffee juice etc. as you wish. The hotel is situated in the old part of the town and just a few minutes walk to the main tourist area. Ski lifts are approximately 15 -20 minutes walk through the main street and shopping areas. So to sum up, if you are ever anywhere near Bankso you really should visit this hotel, we will certainly be going back there.

Everything was perfect.

Very good service at the reception. Reception open 24/7 despite it was outside high season. Very helpful (esp. Achmed) with helping me with a flat and leak tyre of my car. On a public holiday when garages were closed he managed to get my tire fixed within 20 minutes. Saved my trip! Furthermore: breakfast (when ordered during booking) good and extendid with lots of vegetables, cheese and fruits. Rooms big, big lobby and location perfect next to park and centre. Room has balcony, good shower.

Matras of bed could be more stiff. It was a bit too soft (I have slight back problem so need stiff matras).

Before coming to Bansko I had done my homework properly and read all the reviews available on booking. Thus I found out I should take with me a triple plug socket, I did, I was really helpful and I highly recommend it to you. I also read about the hotel masseuse, I booked a massage and she was amazing indeed. The hotel is in a quiet area but really well-connected to anything that might interest you (within walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums) and it provides a shuttle that takes you to and from the gondola. Unfortunately this time (2-8th of January 2023) there wasn't too much snow so we could not enjoy all the slopes (out of 75 km only 2.2 km where available so only one slope was open and it was very crowded) but even so there were plenty of other things to do like shopping, ice skating, hiking, ATV riding and so on. The front desk hotel staff are friendly, especially the two young and beautiful ladies Milena and Ani, who were very kind and efficient and did their best to meet the demands of all guests (and especially of the difficult and even the rude ones as I witnessed). There is a nice fire place in the lobby and I really liked that it is a pet-friendly hotel. The room is clean and spacious and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The pool is not very large but the water is warm and I really enjoyed my time spent there and in the sauna as well. Hot tea is also available. The food was delicious and even those who are picky can find something they might like. All in all I had a wonderful holiday in Gardenia Park Hotel and I would love to come back again in the future.

Even though it is a 4-star hotel, in the restaurant guests have to use disposable plastic glasses, which is not very nice.

Very well positioned from center, but far from walking to the gondola, the possibility to park for free near the hotel, the hotel staff very kind, including the boy from the hotel's ski rental who waxed our personal equipment for free. Very clean, comfortable rooms, varied, tasty food, well stocked buffet throughout the meal. I liked the hearth and the fire that is made in the evening in the reception, the swimming pool, the sauna, the steam bath are clean and functional. Changed quality robes and towels. I needed some printed sheets and the people at the reception helped every time.

There were no negative aspects, perhaps small improvements to be made, such as:: A bigger pool would be needed, only at certain times (when the skiing ends) it is crowded, but not being a hotel with a very large capacity of accommodation, it is understandable, the lift can be modernized to be faster, the cards the entrance door to the room gives errors sometimes and shutt the ski minibus should work at least until 17.30, not until 17.00, because you have to give up 30 minutes of skiing to catch the last shuttle bus.

The location is close to the center. The room was clean. There's a very nice pool and gym. The staff was very nice and helpful. We asked for by a baby crib and they gave us.

We didn't have hot water in the shower. I told the employee at the hotel reception that the water in the shower was cold in the morning. She promised to take care of the matter and the next day the water was cold as well. Only when I asked for the third time that the matter be taken care of was the water hot, but not boiling.

The location is amazing.. the rooms were clean and renovated . The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean .. wide variety for breakfast and dinner. The pool is clean and nice . We enjoyed it overall

There is only 1 elevator we had to wait a lot to get it and it was away from our room.. we had to walk the whole floor to get to it . The reception area is crowded and the sofas are not in a good condition

Everywhere is good value for money when you're from England. Old town near the hotel is very nice, perhaps a 10 minute walk. Some good bars and restaurants. Very clean rooms. Hotel staff all nice and very helpful. Good selection at breakfast. Hotel organised our minibus to and from the airport, Deano was his name I think, he was excellent and even stopped at Mcdonalds in Sofia for us. Hotel was very clean. Free wifi was good. Bar was good value too which isn't always the case in a hotel. We left before breakfast but they packed us up some sandwiches, fruit and water.

Outside the hotel, a lot of Bulgarians didn't seem very friendly towards us, not threatening or anything, but just not friendly, don't know why, perhaps that's the culture or we were unlucky. Hotel driver to the gondola was ignorant although punctual and reliable. No kettle or coffee/tea in the rooms, if this was added then the stay would have been excellent.
