Hissar Spa Hotel

The rooms are spacious and clean; the swimming pool is great, the hotel is well located- all green and quite. The majority of the staff was well trained and polite, the food at the pool restaurant was very good. It has tennis courts and bowling so all fun for children and families.

The internet connection was bad, the ladies at the reception (with the exception of the one with the blue hair) were out of space. They had no idea why they were there. The swimming pool was not well cleaned as all my swimming suits and shirts became yellow. The corridor smelled a lot of chemicals/toilet.

This is probably the best SPA hotel in Hisaya town and I have been here several times in different seasons. This time only the bartender at the lobby bar and the staff at Prestige restaurant were on the usual level.

The cleaning in the deluxe wing was disaster. There was dust in the bathroom (if you could even imagine that). The cleaning lady just changed one wet towel, which I left on the floor (as the institutions said) but didn't throw the garbage bin, nether refill/replaced the shower gel which was gone. There was no usual relaxing music in the SPA zones, and no lavender/mint in the steam bath and Roman bath. The receptionist at the SPA was a rather arrogant gay, self centred, not well informed for the prices and services different from those that he offers.

Staff is nice. Rooms in the delux wing are big, clean and quiet. The location of the the hotel is also good. Breakfast is adequate ( by Bulgarian standards that is :) )

The SPA, especially the delux wing, feels a bit neglected. SPA centers usually provide complimentary mineral water - not the one here, just access to "precious stone" water which you can have no more than 200ml per day. Lack of minibar in the rooms. Hotel might feel a bit like a maze.

Great hotel, tasty breakfast, and very nice spa area. Even though the hotel was full with people, there was enough space in the spa and sauna areas. We really enjoyed it for a weekend getaway. There were two pools outside - one very hot one (39 degrees) and one a bit colder to balance the body temperature. Inside, there is a big swimming pool (bring your shower cap) and 3 small Jacuzzis. On a selarate floor there is the sauna area with one steam room and a hot sauna of 68-70 degrees. The surrounding is great. There is bowling, tennis court, bars and kids entertainment room. 3-4 minutes away from the hotel there are also some nice ‘mehana’ restaurants with traditional bulgarian food. Overall, great experience and recommend it for a getaway trip.

The room’s carpet smelled a bit of mould, but opening the window solved the problem.

Designed for comfort and very clean, with a large outdoor pool (and two smaller ones, with different temperatures), set in a perfectly maintained park with old trees and sculptures. Delicious food options for lunch and dinner, good cocktails in the lobby bar, and perfect location in the center of the town.

The lobby bar and the pool bar offer excellent and inexpensive coffee. The coffee at breakfast is really bad and ruins the feeling of being pampered one should have in a spa hotel. Why not offer the good coffee for breakfast, too?

The swimming pool facilities were great, as were the gardens in the hotel. The hotel was centrally located near to many restuarants, parks and walking paths. Nice to have a gym facility also. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was well stocked with toiletries

The bathroom was clean and tidy however we had issues with the warm water (hot water stopped several times). The shower was nice but needs to be properly enclosed to prevent water flowing to other parts of the bathroom. Gym equipment needs to be repaired or replaced.

Breakfast had good variety, the parking was pretty full, but still there was place for our car. The small indoor pools (for kids mostly) were nice, but without enough 'sunbeds'. There were nice, surprising amenities in the room and the bathroom was big with shower and tub. It could use some minor renovation but overall everything was in good shape. We had issue falling asleep the first night since it was too hot for us, but when we fully stopped the AC all was fine.

The wifi had decent coverage, but almost no internet speed so we used our mobile data plans mostly. The receptionists weren't very kind/polite, but at least they weren't rude at all. Depending where your room is, it may be a bit of a journey to reach it with elevators and additional walking - luckily ours was just far, but easy to find.

The hotel has outdoor and indoor olympic pool. The small heated pool at the outside was great. Although, the temperature was very cold, we could enter the pool and enjoyed it there on a snowy day. Breakfast was also good, foods were delicious. Receptionists were very helpful. I definitely recommend it.

-The classical spa area (not “deluxe”): huge pool, great sauna, steam bath, very big outdoor pool, with a special warm jacuzzi…; - Very good and diverse Breakfast, except coffee (poor nesskafe); - electric charging car spot, even is extra payable.

- Don’t use the ATM in front of this hotel!!! It swallowed my card, and the same thing happened to the hotel manager… without any reaction from DSK Bank (the owner of that ATM)… - The restaurant on the top (“Panorama”) is closing too early, and the personal is nervous when that time is coming around; a few dishes remain available etc…. - The “Deluxe” spa area is quite disappointing: some of facilities are out of order; the mineral pool too small, the sauna unheated… The entire “deluxe” concept of this hotel is a joke. Better to choose the normal accommodation.

- The hotel is great and very clean. For cleanliness I give rating 10+++ - Staff is nice and friendly. - Refrigerator in the rooms, comfy beds, nice bathroom. Big parking lot with security - Breakfast and dinner are delicious and very rich. The restaurant is big and has a large terrace with pool view. - There are several outside pools and indoor pool.

- Water in the indoor pool was a bit colder than expected - The music in the restaurant was too loud (both DJ and live music performance). As it was during dinner time this was not very pleasant. Loud music is OK for the evening, after people finished dinning, but not during eating. We could hardly have a decent conversation and for my parents the noise was just too loud. As it was a national holiday and music program was planned, I hope that on regular evenings the music is OK.
