Sandman Signature Edmonton South Hotel

I had breakfast at the attached Denny's one day. It was good, your average diner fare. I had a lovely dinner at the attached Chop Steakhouse and it was great. The convenience of having these restaurants attached was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room nice and quiet. It was close to where my daughter was staying for her competition which is why I picked this hotel and location.

Finding parking was a little bit of an issue near an entrance as it was very cold while I was there. There was more parking near the back however.

Zero issues with/for my service 🐕‍🦺 dog. The pool/hot tub was cool. The beds are amazingly comfortable, I slept very well! Every time I walked through the doors I got a smile from staff. Great handicapped parking.

I wish the tub and room was more walker/disabled accessible. Very deep tub hard to get in and out of. The TV was small and hard to center so everyone could watch. My husband thought coffee in lobby was not that good. Need a complimentary breakfast

The location and employees are very nice.

The curtain in the bed room had holes in it and needs to be replaced. The Denny’s light shines through the holes all night. Then the line painters who painted right beside vehicles and got paint on my tires. Not hotels fault but still unprofessional.

We stayed three nights so qualified for the third month free. Fantastic value for that expense, but if we had paid roughly 95 bucks for a single night I would still say that it is a decent value. Easy to find and easy access to South Common and, albeit a bit of a drive to West Ed Mall, it was not complex. Many conveniences within a 15 minute walk or two minute drive. Lastly, and most importantly, probably the best shower in any hotel I have ever used. Great showerhead. I am shopping for one LOL.

Only a couple very minor annoyances. Fridge not very cold, bathroom sink stopper broken. Nothing major.

The staff were very accommodating. From a plumbing issue to relocating us to another room immediately. They were very helpful in booking us a cab to get to our destination. We stayed in a king suite which had everything you would need. It is a large room that's been updated and very quiet.

The only dislike I had was that there wasn't a breakfast included with the room.

Continental ? Tea was good

Not sure if my points were added to my stay that night when we arrived it was late and I asked the clerk if I could give my pints number in the morning The next morning she had my check out sheet already printed off when she discovered that I had two accounts so she combined them. That was the reason I had missing points in the past

It’s been a long time since staying in a Sandman but this hotel was very clean and quiet. They gave us hand sanitizer in our rooms, the water pressure was great and the tub was perfect size. Really great location! There were even plugs for your car in the lot. Just a great and relaxing experience

The coffee in the rooms. And it’s not just this hotel. They gave us good quality brand but those machines should be abolished by all hotels. Give me a $5 coupon for coffee and it would be better

No breakfast with our stay. Was not offered.

Parking is very limited. Very small spaces unless you have a very small car. Room for 3 adults was okay but no space. Just a chair tucked in corner. The little coffee maker in room was fine but again we had 3 adults and supplies in entire room were for 2 people. Nice to have the small coffee counter in lobby.

Great location to get to ikea, South common shops, and the airport area outlet mall! Dennys attached to the hotel, which is lovely! Friendly staff as well! This is our go to hotel when in Edmonton.

The pool is small and a little cold for my liking but doesn't seem to phase our son! Hot tub is lovely, though!

The location was not near anything I was doing, but I knew that going in, and the property was surrounded by nice wide green areas to walk with my dog. The distance from downtown also made for spectacular skies all around. The staff were very nice, and parking was easy and included in the price.
