Motel 6-Grande Prairie, AB

The bed was comfortable, room temperature was easy to maintain. The room was small but, I literally just needed a place to sleep and shower and it provided that. Bonus was the fridge and microwave in the room. My room was at the back and it was quiet. Overall it was a good place to stay for the money and I would definitely go back again.

Not much of a selection for breakfast, and the room didn't have a place to put clothing (no drawers, just a closet rod). Both were minor issues and not something that would stop me from staying there again.

Andrea and Tracy are EXCEPTIONAL reception hostesses. They both went above and beyond to assist us in our transition & make our stay great. THANKS GALS! Loved being able to have a place that hosted our pet without additional charges!🤩 Housekeeping does an amazing job as well. 👏👏👏 Appreciated the complimentary coffee in our room. EXCELLENT VALUE

The tiny freezer in the fridge could have been defrosted to create more space. But that would add a LOT more work to housekeeping in their daily duties. Wish so much they had kitchenettes but microwave & fridge facilitated what we needed.

Collette at the desk was very helpful and totally sincere that she cared about me and my booking from booking.com .. she helped me straighten it all out.. she was amazing Hats off to you as a hotel for still having smoking room and not charging to be pet friendly..

It took forever to get hot water in the sink and the tub.. and it wasn't very hot for the shower. We had to leave the water running for a long time.. roo. 303

Its a basic no frills hotel just on the outskirt of GP, best price in town for a clean, somewhat modern room. I have stayed a few times without issue. You get to golf free and a local course when you stay here, have yet to take them up on that offer.

Parking can be tight when its busy, I have always managed to find a spot but there has definitely been a couple times I got the last available space. TV didn't work during my last stay, coffee pot was empty at front desk in the AM.

The staff checking me in was super friendly, the check in was super quick even though she had other guests to tend to. She was amazing and I wish I got her name. Whoever is the site Manager should definitely recognize this employee. I checked in around 7pm on the 31st of August.

Room size was a little small,but had everything I needed for my stay.

Very central to the best route to go downtown.

I don't think serving me a bottle of water, an apple, and a granola bar should be called breakfast. In my preview of the room, it showed a proper breakfast room, with a waffle maker, and cereal and juice dispensers. I appreciate the little hardboiled eggs, and the yogurt.

Very modern and yet basic room design. Very clean. Excellent price compared to other hotels in GP. Exactly what I expected. I will be back for sure.

Breakfast is minimal in form of power bars and coffee. But for this price it does not matter. Timmy's is only a few blocks away.

The lovely lady at the front desk was so incredibly sweet. I chatted with her a good bit before heading upstairs. The location was convenient considering the situation we were in!

Upon entering the room, everything seemed find aside from being a bit tight. However I did find some hard candy on the floor, and some other small crumbs.

Staff was extremely friendly to us and our dog. We were made to feel very welcome and the room cost was reasonable. They were accommodating by putting us in a room close to a door so there was minimal fuss when we needed to take our dog outside.

There are no close restaurants or stores to this motel so we did have to drive elsewhere to eat. Even though they were very accommodating with our dog there wasn't much landscaping for him to relieve himself on and what there was clearly had just been sprayed with weed killer.

Most hotel’s standard rooms were booked up with fire evacuees, so medical rates were not in available. Motel 6 gave us an excellent rate.

It was a bit further from the hospital and entrances/hallways were quite busy.
