Waterfront Hotel Downtown Burlington

conveniently located downtown, beautiful waterfront, very friendly staff.

The grab and go breakfast is not appealing. I’ve stayed here in the past and they used to have an AMAZING breakfast buffet. everything was always fresh, hot and lots of space to eat. The selection now is underwhelming, the take away boxed food is luke warm if that. In addition selection of food is greatly diminished if you don’t get down to eat before 9:00am. And the seating is very limited. Sadly it appears that the Covid protocol breakfast is a permanent feature now.

Awesome location , clean, friendly staff, warm breakfast included, awesome patio with a panorama view of the lake. I like that at reception in the morning they left coffee there.

A bit pricey in my opinion, especially if I wanted a whirlpool included with the room, I would have had to pay an extra $90. Wish o was able to get the lake view, but everything was booked. I believe the patio chairs are NOT that comfortable. Also a lot of bees, so it was hard to enjoy breakfast outside on the patio. Just like they left complementary coffee thermos after breakfast time, it would have been awesome if they also left hot water for tea and also the jar of cold water.

Very kind and funny staff, GORGEOUSSSS location right next to water and plenty of greenery, minutes away from all the restaurants and cafes you'd ever want and lots of fun shops too, and the Burlington beach is very close too!! There was also a food truck festival when I went. The area had very good vibes. Just absolutely blew me away. I can't wait to be back next year for my anniversary again!!

The free breakfast food was bland and lukewarm, which is the typical hotel breakfast experience so I didn't expect much. There's lots of cool places to grab proper breakfast anyway!! Oh, also the carpet in the rooms and the tight spaces near the bed makes it very hard for wheelchair users to roll around the room on their own, so I suggest bringing a loved one to help. I had my partner so it was no big deal for us, but y'know. Not ideal.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the elevator service was quick and efficient. The room came with a "free" breakfast that included cold cereals, selection of juices, yoggarts, coffee, tea, fruit and muffins. There were nice tables to sit at to have the breakfast. The location of the hotel was adjacent to Lake Ontario in central downtown Burlington with miles of walking paths along the lake and was conveniently located to numerous restaurants and stores in easy walking distance.

Like almost all hotels the ventilation system was poor and when we wanted the room cool at night the air conditioner was extremely noisy.

I didn’t like that the electricity went out two days in a row .. the fire alarm subsequently went off at 5:55am .. this happened the next day as well .. there should be a generator in a property such as this .. the elevators did not work ( I realize if there was a fire you would not use them ) so we had to bring luggage downstairs 6 flights .. keys would not work to get into the rooms ..

Breakfast was excellent, I had more than enough, fell in l love with the view I was not expecting any of this It was my first time in your Hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable. Laura at the front desk was professional ,very polite , fun to talk to, and did more than I was expecting to make my stay memorable . I went to many Hotel in my life The service that she provided was exceptional, Laura and your staff made me feel at home- away from home , I do plan to go back with my wife in July for a vacation and I live 12 hours from Burlington. Please say thank you to Laura and your staff for me.

Check in was a breeze. We got to the hotel a little late the first night but check in was easy. Even tho parking was a little challenging, they gave us a pass to put on the dash board and we eventually got a spot. When we woke up in the morning we saw that the location was stunning and spectacular! Right by the water, by the promenade, it was a perfect place to walk early mornings and evenings. It is also quite centrally located - lots of places close by that you can walk to for food, sight seeing and activities. It is also withing great drving distance of many towns / cities (Hamilton, Toronto...). The hotel room was adequate for 4 people. The grab & go breakfast was super convenient. The pool was a delight - nice warm temperature. Would definitely come back.

On the weekends the restaurant thats attached to the hotel becomes a club so parking is a major challenge. The pool was out of order the last 2 days of our stay which was a disappointment.

pay parking was shared with city so guests weren’t even guaranteed a spot. some people have to park away from the hotel which was a real inconvenience. We also preferred the continental breakfast pre Covid. The grab and go style breakfast is crowded and slow, there is almost no room to sit and eat so we always had to go back up to our room. We travel to this area twice a year for events and our group of 80 definitely preferred the breakfast in the restaurant pre Covid.
