Motel 6-Kingston, ON

I just need a bed and air BNB prices were really high. It was clean, staff were nice, and it was the cheapest option. I want expecting the muffins/coffee in the morning. It was a nice touch and would make me want to bring my kids here as there's an accessible snack. I can't eat diary myself and wouldn't mind requesting that as an option (maybe it gets put in the fridge in my room and has to be requested to save costs?) But the muffins looked tasty.

I knew this place was not a regular Motel 6 as per the good reviews I've read. However, it was truly out of my expectation. Seemed like it was newly renovated, everything was CLEAN. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Location-wise, it was not in the downtown area but it was not an issue as we rented a car. There was a Costco that was about 5~7min away and some restaurants around there.

I liked my stay. It seemed like it was a place for truck drivers to rest: I thought I went in the wrong direction when I started to see a couple of trucks parked along the road. But it's not a disadvantage at all. The flush of the toilet did not work well initially. But the lady at the front desk went up quickly and fixed it.

the room was clean and bright and quiet for work the bed was comfortable and had extra pillows as requested loved the big tub and spacious bathroom the forth floor was quiet despite closeness to the highway which was what I had wanted

there was no decaf coffee for the evening and no snacks when I arrived the vending machine that I wanted didn't take coins would have been good to have some granola bars or something other than the muffins

Staff were helpful and friendly

Could have more of a continental breakfast. TV far from bed and too high to watch from table. Hard floors like a dorm room and should be carpeted. Dump truck work crew staying at site, trucks with trailers taking alot of prime spaces had to walk from near road at night then on weekend using lot for maintenance of vehicles had to go out of way to get around vehicles.

Only muffin for breakfast!? In this price range, I expected breakfast included. (Covid excuse is not relevant anymore!). Before the trip, I received some ovid related notifications that are not relevant now. For example, about limited hygin products. It made me pack everything and bring them with me. But everything was available, nice and clean.

Realizing that Covid restrictions were in effect, Muffins and coffee/tea were available in a dining area. Vending machines replaced gift shop. All very understandable.

Bar fridge was quite noisy and TV from another room made it difficult to fall asleep. Unplugged the fridge and other guest finally turned off TV. 2 little hard chairs meant that you had to use bed for reading/ relaxing but realize that hard surfaces were necessary for thorough cleaning.

Amazingly clean. Room was spacious, big parking, fridge and microwave in the room, and the complimentary coffee and muffins were so nice. Overall a very pleasant experience in a convenient location.

The heater/ac unit was noisy in the room so we had to turn it off; could use service or replacement. Didn't bother us though as we turned it off and the room still stayed warm till morning.

Motel 6 was nicer than I expected. Friendly greetings from front desk. Room was clean and all laminated flooring is a bonus. Hallway window was slightly opened which was great for cleaner air flow. Only one draw back. Shampoo needs upgrade and bar soap would be better if it is in tube.

Check-in was great and simple. Muffins available with coffee and tea in the morning. Simple room.

There was blood stain and hair in one bed (we found out that the second bed had a blood stain too later). The receptionnist was kind and asked if we wanted to change room. However, we had A LOT of stuff so didn't want to move... So we had to go grab some new sheets and do the bed. The room is missing some hooks.

We stayed here the Sunday prior and this last night b also it is a comfortable hotel great location like the microwave, open windows, bed is comfortable, friendly staff, price is matched for the hotel. When we stayed this past summer it was very expensive 250$ish due to popular times of year of course but not worth that amount at all - but of course you know that as well I’m sure!

We had a room with beds facing the left wall as you walk in the room. Didn’t like that room 320 just a personal preference. Do not like that I requested no joining rooms. And we got one anyways! Requested it but I guess it didn’t reach you-. Room is clean over all towels, bed smell and look fresh, but Floors could be cleaner each time we have found many hairs in the bathroom and the common area on the floor! Did I give you a review previously yes I did and a great one I do think the hotel is a great place to stay! The reason the lower score is the hairs on the floor! Would we come back absolutely, and we will see you again soon!
