Econolodge Inn & Suites St-Apollinaire

The location is really good, we really like the motel style especially when staying with a pet. Room #9 is very very tiny - other rooms are available in the motel style that are larger if you are looking for more room. A continental breakfast is included but we didn't partake. Lots of restaurants nearby to choose from.

The price of the room was pretty high for what we got - a tiny 150 sq ft room for $200 a night - plus you have to pay for each pet you bring and sign a big contract about getting surcharges if you let your pet on any furniture. This seems a little extreme to me.

The staff and the location were excellent. I appreciated the availability of an EV charger.

I stayed in the separate building, which is lower quality than the main building, although perfectly suitable. I found the desk chair hard, but used pillows to cushion it. I recommend using cleaners with a less persistent and unpleasant fragrance (how about using orange cleaners instead?).

Hotel was very clean/new and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay including to-go breakfast, coffee in the room, great beds/linens/pillows (4 pillows not two), clean bathrooms, great air-conditioning, windows that open, small hotel bar, laundry room and a really good restaurant right next door. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Location wasn't anything special if that's what you're looking for. Kind of near some industrial buildings, only plus was the great restaurant next door. Not walking/running friendly nor did I see any place for kids to play. But for the actual hotel, again the hotel itself provided everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

property was very easy to locate excellent parking staff very friendly and accommodating and very clean comfortable , with modern fixtures. A little disappointed the restaurant bar section is not open being all restaurants are open with a Covid vaccine proof there’s no reason the continental breakfast should be put in a paper bag any longer. this is not the only hotel continuing these practises but I feel as if it’s an easy way out less staff less waste and a customers just accept it . come on choice hotels re-open your bars and restaurants in a safe manner it makes the world a difference while travelling to have a hot breakfast or a cold drink after a long day of travelling. other than that excellent hotel I would recommend to anyone and we will return.

Bar/restaurant still not open even though all local restaurants and bars are open for business it makes no sense why choice hotels and any other hotel chain cannot reopen their facilities to their customers The safe manner. as stated above it is my belief many hotel chains I would like to do continue the brown bag breakfast which is ridiculous being it cuts down on staff preparation costs and waste but as a customer nothing is better than a hot breakfast or a cold drink after a long day of travel.

Breakfast was ok, but nothing exceptional. Rooms were very nice, specious and clean. Room in the second building was kind of small, though still nice and clean. For a little extra we were upgraded to a bigger room in the main building and that room was really nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Hot breakfast would be great. But for the price we payed we still are happy with the service.

Tiny room and bathroom, but queen bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast (no eggs/bacon/sausage) but enough choices to fill you up. No fresh fruit though. Over all a good choice for a stop over between Montreal and Riviere du Loup.

We stayed at the motel side in a small suite, all good ! The internet/tv/ phone were down, awaiting technician, but had wifi access at the main building and restaurant.

Our stay was actually extended to 3 nights as i had a fall and broke my wrist when walking outside in the morning. After being treated at the hospital we spent 2 more nights as i needed to see a specialist. The hotel staff were very helpful and accomodating esp. Claude who helped me after i fell and summoned the ambulance. Thank you

My stay was absolutely amazing. My room was exactly as desired. Spacious, had a big TV with Netflix. Plenty of storage and sitting room. Bed was comfy. Had a microwave and a fridge to store snacks. Everything was clean: bed & towels. Hotel breakfast was very nice. Loved that you could take it to go. Staff was super friendly. Place is perfectly located. Has everything you need within 4 min ride max. Restaurants, pharmacy, gas station, park, etc.

I stayed 2 nights. After my first night, our bed sheets and towels were not changed.

On site bar lounge for refreshments. Free ample parking. Restaurant was within walking distance about 3 minutes. Rooms were clean and were at the rear so quieter.

Too expensive for what it is because its just average accommodations. Lobby doors a pain in the ass not automatic as most these days. No pool or any outdoor areas to sit and relax.

This is my usual stop for the night when I travel from New Brunswick to Ontario to visit family. Location, location, location, plus friendly staff

Toilet paper is really way to thin, I end up using much more - perhaps moving up to 2 ply
