Ramada by Wyndham Emerald Park/Regina East

Everything was amazing. Clean, comfortable room, friendly and efficient staff, wonderful breakfast and the icing on the cake was the two, yes two! Water slides that safely accommodated out 8 and 10 year olds as well as our 4 year old. Best hotel of the vacation thus far! Oh, laundry machines on site were an added bonus and much appreciated.

More time in our schedule to stay longer

The bathtub filled with 4 inches of water while showering and took 5 or more minutes to drain. We probably experience this problem in 1 of every 7 or 8 stays no matter the hotel chain. Poor excuses are common . Why don’t hotels have some one check all tubs every few months? I can see why the cleaning staff don’t find the problem because they would only run a small amount as they clean. But if they run the water 30 seconds they would find the problem. And I suppose many would not be trained to remove the plug for cleaning . Long storey but darn it fix this ongoing problem. Lastly the hair dryer was clogged with lint! Say no more Murray We slept well.

A newer hotel with a great pool and waterslide facilities. Large rooms with high ceilings and mini kitchenette in each room. The breakfast room was well equipped with full staff to serve the hot food which was nice . Great price and value.

Difficult to find staff in the evening..... Hotel is listed as being in Regina but is actually in a very small community 20 minutes east of the city. This is either good or bad.....if you are traveling Cross country on the #1 great to stop and get in and out quickly if you don't plan on going through Regina. If you are staying or planning to visit the city it's not the location for you.

Breakfast was awesome

The dark curtains in our room did not close to the middle of the window, so we could not darken the room, and the light shone in in the morning. Also, for privacy, we could not close the dark curtains.

Very clean Pleasant staff Was able to book an ACCESSIBLE ROOM DIRECTLY ON LINE WITH OUT HAVING TO REQUEST IT (and then never get a confirmation thru booking.com)

Front desk placed us in an east room after us inquiring which side of the building was the quietest and telling us it was the west side????? A very DANGEROUS features is the bathroom light is on a timer. Good idea, but no instructions to tell you how long it stays on or how to adjust it. The disabled person I was travelling with was suddenly in the pitch black and would have fallen IN THE SHOWER and not been able to get up if I had not be there to assist. Disabled rooms MUST allow the person to be self sufficient!

The water park was so fun! Kids spent hours upon hours in there. The room and whole hotel was super clean, the breakfast was top notch, the staff were so friendly. Everyone saying good morning and smiling lots. Check in/out was great. Bed comfortable, towels fluffy, they use Paul Mitchell hair care supplies which was so nice. A couple of restaurants walking distance grocery store, Tim Hortons, gas station.

The location is a bit far west from Regina but there was a grocery store and lots of amenities around.

Great location for us as it is close to the highway. Easy to get on/off of the highway and restaurants & grocery store very close by.

It’s not that old of a hotel but it’s already looking pretty worn in places. Also they need more staff at the front desk. The poor clerk was inundated at around 4pm as people were checking in. There were several parties there for a tournament and their rooms weren’t ready yet. The clerk handled it like a champ and didn’t get flustered but we had to wait about 20 minutes in a line to get our room. There should have been someone else there to help her out.

The breakfast was very pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very close to the highway, as I had wanted, so I was quickly headed east on a a long drive in the morning.

For some reason I ended up with an accessible hotel room which had a door to the adjacent room and that made it not as sound-proof as other rooms I've experienced in this chain. The family who was next door was just being a family and the kids were having fun and running around but I would have preferred to have a more quiet room without the door.

We really enjoyed the breakfast - 4 hot items every day (2 day rotation of options) along with yogurt, cereal, apples, bread and bagels, coffee and juice. We loved the pool - two waterslides, one is small enough and empties into its own area so small enough for non-swimmers; one longer that ends in 1m pool so good for older kids/adults. Our room had its own kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, fridge with freezer. I liked that the freezer actually froze my reusable ice cubes solid so that we could keep using them for our day outings.

The charger in the bedside table lamp was finicky so harder to get items to charge, but there were other places in the room to charge devices so not a big deal. The coffeemaker could only use the self-contained coffee bags (kind of like a tea bag) so we couldn't use our own coffee at all. But really very minor things. We enjoyed the hotel a lot overall!

Very clean, pool was open and had slides which was fun. Our room was large, had a window bathroom was super spacious and staff was friendly. breakfast was included in our stay which had a wide variety of options!

No complaints about our stay at all, so this is not the hotels fault by any means, but when I booked it I thought because it said Regina East it was going to be on the east side IN the city, not TO THE east of the city. Travel time to get to Regina wasn’t TOO long but we checked in late after driving for 5.5 hours so we didn’t even bother. Amazing stay for the night though.
