Estelar Playa Manzanillo - All inclusive

Everything was included, convenient, and tranquil. It removed the stress from having to plan or even think. We just relaxed.

It would have been easier if the "snack hours" (meaning the food available at times when actual meals were not being served) were posted because they were not consistent day to day.

This hotel is perfect for some family holidays. The beds are excellent! The staff is amazing and the food is great taking into consideration that they prepare massive amounts of food every day. The chef and staff at Nativo restaurant deserves a big applause, the food is GREAT!!!

The beach was not very clean (guests fault), a lot of plastic garbage... Unfortunately not many vegetarian or vegan options, there should have more plant protein food.

the beach has a VIP area and for accessing each guest should pay additional to the fee (this VIP area in the beach doesn’t have anything different from the other) - no reason go it to be there, also if they have VIP access & services they should inform that to the guests in the check in

The premises are nice and in a quiet area. It is a short ride from the airport. There are no other hotels next to it so it provides some privacy. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The food selection was nice and you can book with the concierge on your first day the reservation for the different restaurants they have. Be prepared for line ups to see the concierge, especially in the afternoon. The beach was nice and from there you get a view of the city of Cartagena. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the old city 5 times a day and you can book the times you want to go and to return.

The check-in process was very slow. There was a family who arrived at 8:00 a.m. and by 2:00 p.m. they still did not have a room. We checked in after 12:00 p.m. and were offered to pay an additional fee to start enjoying the facilities. We didn't oppose because we wanted to have lunch ASAP, but I've been to other resorts in the Caribbean where they allow you to use the premises while the room is ready and with no additional cost.

This was an absolutely excellent resort stay! The check in process was very quick and very easy. All the staff was so nice. The all inclusive experience is top tier. They have a great buffet breakfast, the bar moved quickly and made great drinks, the restaurants where you had to make reservations (still included) had amazing food. The buffet had great food as well if you didn’t have reservations. The pools were big and cleaned often. I cannot say enough but how much enjoyed my stay here. I highly recommend it.

It doesn’t matter to me, but I can foresee how other guests may be put off by the animals at the resort. However, for the most part the hotel pets stay out of the way. There is one dog, Kendra who is the sweetest dog. Lots of the pets don’t come up to you, they’re just there. There are also a lot of birds at this resort that are up to typical bird shenanigans lol - just shoo them away.

The food was great, most of the staff very friendly, great drinks, nice activities, good anti-covid measures and an almost private beach.

It's unbelievable they don't include airport transfer. There are some drivers there which are basically stealing every client with the prices. They charge at least 50% more than a regular cab which is already crazy expensive in Cartagena compared to any other city in Colombia.

Staff kindness, food & drinks, location, the built-in nature setup.

1. There should be more offered in the all-inclusive package, i.e. only black coffee was included in the cafeteria, whilst other very common drinks like cappuccino, lattes, etc., were only offered as additional cost. 2. No availability of any water sports equipment. 3. The gym was temporary arranged in an events room, with few equipment and no towels or tissues for cleaning.

I traveled with my family and rented a Junior Suite for almost a week, it was our first time there as a family and we had our doubts because we read positive and also negative comments about the hotel. During our stay we found that a lot of the negative point people commented were already corrected! We really loved the hotel!, the room was big and comfortable, the air conditioning was really necessary because of the temperature in Cartagena and we slept really good and the view to the passive pool was beautiful! The hotel has two beautiful pools, we loved the “passive” one. It was quite and we weren’t disturbed by any noise and that was priceless. The food was really good! There’s is food all day long and drinks too! And the restaurants at night were confortable and the food was good. The hotel also offers a bus if you want to go to Cartagena, so the distance is not a main issue.

The only thing we didn’t like is that the beach was a bit dirty, but I guess it was because of the rain.

The pools were a great family friendly experience. Beach was steps away from the resort. There were plenty of options at the buffet. Loved that you could get fresh beach towels throughout the day.

There wasn't always toilet paper in all the stalls in the bathrooms near the pools, these could have been refilled more often. Also when we were leaving there was construction in the reception area so we had to detour around it and that path wasn't covered so we go soaked from the rain.

Great private beach that is chill, the staff inside the resort is great and helpful and the buffet is actually really good! Big spacious rooms with A/C, great pools and bar staff. Recommend for anyone staying in cartagena area.

the line to check into the hotel is as long as advertised (up to one hour), but once you get through it everything is wonderful.
