Billund Airport Hotel

The room was spacious, and the common area was very comfortable. Transportation was great: The free city shuttle to Lego House and Legoland was exactly what we needed! Thanks to the staff, we had a copy of the shuttle schedule that we can reference. The free luggage storage was helpful as well :)

It would be great if more options were available at the hotel restaurant. Also, the self-checkin system did not work, so we had to wait in line despite the fact that we checked in online before we arrive at the hotel. Also, since the reception is also the restaurant bar, the wait to get assistance may be slightly longer.

The hotel staff were super helpful (we asked for a cot on check in and it was brought to our room immediately)! The restaurant/communal space was very nice including games and a Lego corner. The room was on the small side, but super functional (space to put all the stuff you need for a night). It definitely worked for our family of four. It's in walking distance to the airport as well and as far as I understand there is a shuttle bus to Legoland (but that could also be reached by walking). All in all a very pleasant stay!

I didn't like that the shower was open, so the bathroom was pretty much a wetroom. But it made sense in terms of making the best use out of the space available.

The rooms are very small, but for a hotel where you need to spend the night before a flight, it is quite enough. The furniture is new, the design of the rooms is excellent, the mattresses are very comfortable. The rooms are quiet, even those overlooking the runway (we specifically asked for a room with a view of the planes). The breakfast is good. The hotel is five minutes walk from the airport.

The location is great if you want to stay close to the airport. If you want to go from the hotel to Legoland and other places by public transport, then it is better to stay somewhere else.

Perfect for arriving late at night with a young family before trip to Lego land. Lovely walk from terminal to hotel. Really appreciated the wooden room keys and "do not disturb" signs. Staff so welcoming and friendly and helpful.

No air conditioning. Although freely available at bar self service fountain would be nice. No complimentary tea or coffee. Very very warm and stuffy in hotel building common areas and it was only about 20°C outside! Perfect for one night as rooms tight with 4 of us in a room

It is a perfect location between the airport and means of transportation. Good report price quality. Check in and check out was so easy and quick without complications. Fast service in the bar. Comfy spaces in the lobby with games for kids and adults with tv.

A strange odor/smell in the hallway between the rooms and even inside the room.

Rooms were super clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable.

The staff was busy so we did a kiosk check-in, but it had errors while taking in my information. Dates in the system kept changing even after my input. So it took some time there. And there were time limitations because we couldn't park the car for more than 30 min at the entrance due to the airport area.

The personal has very frindlly and they help us all the time. All the bus stations were near, in 5 minute’s from the hotel,în front off the airport .The noise from the arplains we can berlly heard in the morning.

No fridge in the room,but they let us put somthing in the fridge from reception.The fammily room very little.

Location is the best. Bed was great. Breakfast was ok, I think it was better 7 years ago, more veggies/fruits would be great . Free coach is superb to get around. Very easy check in check out.

Airplane exhaust gas reached ventilations quite a lot some day. Depends on wind probably. Also smoking under windows bit annoying.

The location is perfect! It allows us to get both seas of Denmark just with the buses. The lobby is very cozy and we spent our evenings by watching our kids playing board games and building lego, when we are chilling at the bar. Great!

Small rooms

We stayed here one night as we were flying out from Billund. We went on a cruise from Kiel, Germany. From Billund Airport we took a Bus to Kolding then train from Kolding to Kiel. The hotel was a nice place walking distance to the terminal for departure. Billund is expensive since Legoland is there.
