Best Western Plus Hotel Fredericia

The hotel was very nice, and the staff were very professional. I booked a business room with an air condition because of health issues. The air condition refused to work after the first night, and the safe deposit box also ceased working. The former was fixed towards the end of our stay, which was an issue. However, the hotel gave us a complimentary meal, which was so excellent that it quite frankly made up for any inconvenience.

Then manager was nowhere in sight during our whole stay, despite the issues we encountered. Having said that, the staff were amazing. The meal made up for all the issues encountered. I cannot praise the hotel restaurant enough. It's amazing.

This is a very nice hotel. Modern, with brilliant facilities. It has a sport center nearby, a miniature historical village, unfortunately closed at the times we were there, but would have happily visited it with the kids and it has a water park with one ticket/pers included. We could not visit that either, but I think it was a miss :-( Furthermore it has a great restaurant with quality food both for children and for adults which was a great value for us. We were travelling with two kids and it is so difficult to find a place where to find food that the kids like while at the same time being able to eat real quality adult food at the same place! And the staff is great: helpful and smiling :-)

I am personally not fond of bunk beds, but I understand the logic of having them ina a family room. It is otherwise a bit outside town, but then, again, i wonder if it would make any substantial difference since this hotel feels like a good self-standing capsule that fit our family needs very well

Staff friendly and willing despite shortage. Lots of space and greenery around the hotel (also good for our dog). Good location for activities and f.i. visit Kolding. Fine and complete breakfast.

We faced a room with an extra high bunk-bed, made of a steel construction. Very strange and asked the reception whether this was the intention. Took a lot of space from the room. We booked already end April just for 2 persons !

We only stayed one night, but the room was clean, quite spacious and reasonably equiped. Breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of choices and for a good price. Having a free voucher for the sportcenter's aquapark next door was just lovely, the kids loved it!

It was necessary to register our car to park on the parking lot for a free parking. I would expect the reception staff to remind people during check in. We missed the registration tablet and got fined the next morning because of that.

Nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast - really recommend! A bit outside city but easy to get there if you have a car - but you need to drive a bit to get dinner in the city. Would be nice to have fridge in the room - especially during summer:).

Fridge, more parking places

Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman at the bar that also served us in the restaurant. The food was also good. We like veggie food and there were enough options for one night of that. The room was spacious for us- 2 adults and a 15yo on the large cot plus many places to store luggage. Everything was clean. We also enjoyed the surrounding area- the pool (1 free tic per person for 1 da, at the pool only, not the "park" side of the facility), the walking trails, and the recreational area with row boats, playgrounds, farm animals, and aviary. We were only there for 2 nights or else we could have done some whale watching or kayaking. Lots of outdoor beauty and activity.

The only issue we had was that we asked the front desk attendant to rent us a taxi to the bus station after check-out. There were 3 of us with many bags and he ordered us a passenger van. This costed us more money and it's a van for passengers- no trunk for the luggage. So we had to hold our bags to keep them from tumbling around. Not sure why he ordered us a huge van when we could have all fit in a regular sized car. Lesson learned- be specific or order your own.

Wonderful staff at front desk/registration - Natasha was so helpful! The room was clean, space used efficiently. We opted for an air conditioned room and appreciated it being offered. Excellent dinner and great wait staff. Breakfast wasn’t as “successful” an endeavor for us, as Americans, but everyone else loved it! All in all, a great find and highly recommend!

I have no “negatives”.

Good standard type hotel. The location was very convenient for the festival I was attending - but otherwise you should note that it is located somewshat outside the city centre.

A smaal fridge in the room would have been nice.

I loved the fact that it had a water centre right next door and a little train that brought you to a wonderful playground. Great place for families. And the conference rooms were brilliant.

Ni fridge in the room and no air conditioning

Clean, modern hotel with lake view playing with the charm of bare concrete. Comfortable room with plenty of space and very good beds. Coffee maker. Free parking in front of the hotel. Smoked salmon for breakfast was a treat.

The hotel is located way off from downtown Fredericia and the waterfront. Fine if you are just passing through like us.
