Complimentary breakfast, space, garden around the pool, covered seating areas in the garden. Can walk into town. Excellent restaurants around the corner if you want to venture away from the hotel’s restaurant, plus a cinema. Westpac ATM nearby has a maximum withdrawal of FJ$2,000, other ATMs are limited to FJ$900. Friendly and helpful staff. George the driver is good value for short trips outside town. Close to airport. Bus stops at front entry.

There is a nightclub next door and over the road that says it runs 5 pm to 5 am, but it seems to end around 7 am. Some rooms are quieter than others and therefore don’t hear the all night doof, doof doof.

1)That the rooms were private and quiet. 2)There were warm blankets which we did not have at our last hotel. 3)The complimentary breakfast was great. 4)The pool was clean and lots of lovely outside sitting areas. Loved the palm trees and the hammock.

1)When we checked in every room occupants needed to have their ID handed in. This was a bit of a meh for me in terms of privacy plus wasn’t mentioned anywhere whilst booking. 2)I was expecting to have booking credit card checked because it said on the booking bit but I wasn’t asked. 3) the floor in our bathroom had dead mothers and a leaf so I assumed it wasn’t checked thoroughly before we checked in. 4) Communication - After cancelling house keeping on both our rooms, we still had two other knocks and one actually walked into the room as my brother and I were sleeping. Then one went into my sisters room as she was walking up to it. It’s the little things that add up to make a big thing!

October 2023

We had an upstairs room with a view over the pool. Room consisted of a queen & single bed, and a wardrobe - along with a TV and desk with drawers There was a shower and toilet in a separate room, adjoining the kitchen - which had tea & coffee making facilities (an electric jug, cups and the usual tea, coffee, drinking chocolate & sugar sachets) Milk - proper stuff - not that horrible creamer powder (yuk) is available at the reception at a small cost Kitchen had a nice wee fridge (which I didn't get in a nearby 'expensive' hotel) The breakfasts were complimentary continental breakfast, with an option of cooked breakfast at a reasonable cost. The rest of the menu is an all-day menu. The fish and chips are amazing - fresh flaky fish in a nice batter - along with the usual chips and a nice salad Now dinner was another story! My partner opted for chicken stuffed with cheese and greens, along with chips and a delicious gravy/jus, while I went for the curry option - chicken - that was served with dhal, roti, along with chilli, tomato & onion in a papadum and a mixture of potato, cumin and a few other veges - as well as rice with some small (extremely hot) whole chillies. The whole meal was absolutely off this planet!! 😍😍 It was totally next level. I have eaten many curries before, including the previous 10-days around Nadi eating curries - and this absolutely smashed them out of the ballpark. My partner was totally overwhelmed with the explosion of flavour of her meal. The same thing the following night when we opted for the Fijian mixed grill and pizza - another meal to remember for a very long time. And again - all at a very reasonable cost! A local mall with several restaurants/cafes & supermarket are right next door & bus stop only 50m away.

Sadly - there were a few minor issues: No coat hangers in the wardrobe TV was only able to get local cover - Netflix etc are not available unless you wish to pay for (expensive) WiFi. BUT - we were on holiday and didn't really care about the TV. It was just an observation No free WiFi No aircon in the front lobby when checking in Sadly - the worst thing was: Having to leave - the accommodation & staff were tremendous

Aircon and bed was good. Pool and grounds were clean and maintained. Basic breakfast included was good. Reception was generally helpful. Free car parking and Free shuttle - all good. Bar and restaurant area were good. Located next to a mall with restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, bank, Digicell store, etc. No mosquitos and stray dogs or anything like that. Staff were generally friendly and there if you needed them.

In the islands the word "resort" is used very freely. 2-3 star hotels are not the same level as in Western countries. So if you go in with lower expectations (say 1 star) then you won't be disappointed across all accommodations about amenities not being perfect. Bathroom, shower and sink were very outdated, aged and so a bit grubby. Clean but old. They charge for wifi and is was not always available. They charge for ice if you want to take some to your room from the bar. There is not really anywhere to hang up wet clothes after swimming, etc.

This hotel would have been amazing 15-20 years ago. Now it seems a little dated but it's still nice enough. The bed was comfy, room was quiet, clean... it met all of my expectations. I was only staying in Nadi for one night before visiting the islands. I ate diner at the hotel. It was big portions for the price. I would stay here again if i come back to Fiji.

Breakfast could be better. It's a buffet of bread/toast with jam/butter, cereals, fruit juice, instant coffee, fresh fruit. Nothing bad about it, but could be nicer.

The staff are friendly, the food reasonably priced and delicious and the grounds well-kept. The kids loved the pool which was clean and family-friendly with steps, a shallow area and waterfall.

The used towels in our room were removed but not replaced for at least a few hours so we had to go without and we asked for pool towels which were recorded on a sign as being available but on both occasions we requested, they never arrived.

Very nice place near the airport. Just a bit aged. Clean room and bath, roomsize is good, breakfast just continental, but quite good (if you want more you can order a full breakfast, which is not very expensive). Nice pool and garden.

The nightclub next door. Hammering bass sound all night untill 1 o'clock (just changed, the government made new rules). If you want it more quiet take a poolview room at the other end. That's more expensive but well worth it.

The location was central to everything around Nandi, with a bus stop out front, restaurants and bars nearby. It was also very easy to get a taxi. The bed was so comfortable, staff were friendly and very helpful.

The water pressure in my room was almost non-existent, and the electrical was a challenge, eg the air con only worked with the TV on, and the power points were only on if the lights were on.

Staff are fantastic especially the cleaning ladies.they clean and wipe every surface. They also take mattresses, blankets , pillows out to air. Food , and beer extremely well priced. Supermarket next door. Wailoalia beach is 25 mins walk which we enjoyed. Local bus also goes there. Buses out the front. Security staff are awesome . Breakfast basic but does the job. Spa lady is awesome and price she charges is best in town. We loved the capricorn.

For what you pay there is nowt complain about.
