Sheraton Denarau Villas

The three bedroom villa was perfect for our family holiday, with grandparents, adult children and grandchild. Loved the food, really pleased we purchased the all inclusive meals and drink package which saved us heaps of money and was good value. Pools great.

The place is beautiful, the shared facilities are fantastic. the bathroom in our unit was quite dated and could do with a revamp given the price.

The bathroom needs an upgrade, the shower door had issues, tile broken, it was clean but really needs upgraded.

The pools were great, kids very much enjoyed them, breakfast selection was great, however some of the food was undercooked at times and the coffees were always wrong, we would always order the coffees when we first arrived and most times they would get to our table at the end of breakfast or we would lave without them. Dinner was ok at Sixty Nine, Tatavu dinner wasn't the best and the waters edge was good, however, we found one staff member seemed upset about something, it could have been our children were making too much noise. Most of the staff were amazing, Bar tender at the Waters Edge pool bar was the best, our room attendant Oripa was the best, she made our stay so great, she would chat to our kids, was very kind and went over and above in our room, we always came back to it being fresh and clean/ tidy.

Dinner at Tatavu, I couldn't eat this.

The villas were a great size and accommodated 7 people comfortably.

The telephone did not work properly, wifi also did not work well. Bath towels were not refreshed, soap wasn’t replenished floor mats were forgotten, supplies in the kitchen were not replenished (such as coffee) and I had to ask 4 times for a roll away bed as we were supposed to have had a room that had a sofa bed. Also I needed to change my credit card details as there was not enough money in the account. I asked 4 times and each time was told no until the payment bounced. The duty manager was inflexible, given I was paying FJ 13,100 for a week’s accommodation. I believe they were being lazy. As it turned out I had to go into work overdraft and pay a penalty for this inflexibility!

Loved the pools in the villas which we preferred over the busier pools in the main resort next door. The buffet breakfast is excellent and well worth including in your stay. Meals at the resort are expensive but we liked the Wet Edge as it was near our room and the service and food was great. There is great food at the nearby Marina which is still on the pricey side but much more affordable for a family of 4 with 2 teens. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and some took the time to approach and chat with our teens. The room was great, very large 2 bedroom villa with 2 bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. We had a ground floor ocean view room which opened out to a grass area near the pool. Lovely sunsets! We had a great time and would stay again.

The Westin next door is closed for renovations which was disappointing, but it will be great when it reopens so Sheraton guests can also enjoy their facilities. The beds were too squishy for us.

All of it was more than adequate. Although I noticed signs of ageing with the property. The sunbeds around the pools adjacent to the villa were shabby, some broken and all in need of a good clean. But the pools were fabulous, .

Nothing that I didn't like as such....but I felt that the fare offered by the restaurants on site was not as varied and plentiful as it could have been. The themed buffet nights were rather expensive and poor value as all was almost cold and unappetizing. Fortunately there was plenty of alternatives on offer locally.

Really great size room with amazingly comfortable beds and great can divide the rooms and have own privacy with lounge in the middle and small kitchen Bathroom great - power point ion 1 of the bathrooms was cracked and did not work but other bathroom was fine Kept clean beautifully by daily cleaning team Pool great - red get some ant killer and fly spray in. mornings to keep flies away as quite annoying but otherwise nice relaxing time

Ant and fly spray Sometimes cocktails write watery and I had to choose wines not to lokig as ran out of quite a ew advertised and also ran out of Heineken 0% beer which was a shame . Drinks relatively expensive but some in m most resorts

We absolutely loved the staff at Sheraton, everyone was extremely friendly and genuinely seemed to love working there. By far the nicest lobby of all the hotels in the area and always a friendly face everywhere we went. The food at the buffet had so much variety we were spoilt for choice and loved that it changed theme every night. Pools were beautiful and the resort is always in such pristine condition every where you go! We loved the swim up bar at wet edge with amazing strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas! Also highly recommend the heavenly spa for a massage, this place was truly heavenly and having a massage with sounds of chirping birds and with beautiful lily pond, it was the perfect place to relax. We had the best time, thank you Sheraton!

How we only stayed 5 nights!!

Staff were all very attentive. We arrived early and as the room wasn't ready they shuttled us to a Day Spa to get changed and ready for a day by the Pool. We also received early check in. All staff are very friendly and helpful and always acknowledge you when you're nearby or passing by. Our daughter has Diabetes and fainted and the staff all helped take care of her, called the Doctor and provided all the care we needed. We were already checked out of our Room for the day and were having a Pool day before our flight that evening, but the Hotel put us into a room to make hot easier to care for her. We are definitely coming back and have already booked!

Probably the only thing that they can improve on its the Dinner at the Grill. It wasn't up to expectations for the price you pay. The basics of cooking a fish and a steak need to be improved.

The villa was amazing. We had 7 of us staying at the villa & there was plenty of room for us all. The bedrooms were big & spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having the 3 bathrooms which was handy for the 7 of us. The grounds were immaculate, pools were awesome & the staff were so friendly & obliging. Perfectly located right on the beach. We had buffet breakfasts & dinners included in the deal and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
