NH Lyon Airport

I stayed in the hotel for the first time last month, the staff and food were both fantastic however and I didn’t have the best experience with my room. This time I was given a much brighter, larger and cleaner room, even the pillows and bed was more comfortable. There is a clear difference between the rooms on different floors despite being the same price.

it will be useful to have a consistency between the rooms that I would be staying in as my second experience was much more comfortable.

Clean and vast rooms + location

Thé staff at thé bar and restaurant are inept. Joris at the bar is hardly ever present. We had to ask the réception desktop for service. He finally came but we really had the feeling that we were disturbing him. I understood What was going on when, 3O minutes later, he served me my fois at the restaurant. This is not how a so-called " classy"restaurant should operate. The foidwas all right but ridiculously overpriced- no alternative once you are there...1h15 for starters and à main dish, on top if It.Definitely not up to It...thé bar was filhy: crumbs on the carpet; stinky tables..

Perfectly clean the staff are amazing. It is right across the road from the airport so it’s very convenient to just roll your luggage across and you’re right there. Beautiful bar and restaurant downstairs so you have everything you need plus the train station is two minute walk so you can take that into town. If you choose to explore. Leon for a day which we did. Suffer amazing no question was too much trouble and they were more than happy to accommodate for any issues or concerns that we had. We stay there twice within our trip and I can highly recommend it.

The room was too hot 23.7 degrees and when asked why the air conditioning wasn’t working was told the technician would arrive soon. This was totally incorrect as after questioning again and visiting the receptionist to ask, I found the air conditioner did not work to cool the rooms only heat them in March. My room was changed to a room with an opening window. Not ideal with planes and cars coming and going so little sleep. The manager did offer me a complimentary drink. I have stayed here a number of times over the years as it is so convenient however will I book there again I am not too sure as I don’t like not been told the truth.

The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The Bar and Cafe area are great but I did not have breakfast. Being near the Airport is obviously useful however it wasn't noisy at all and I slept very well.

Access to the hotel is a bit weird especially with large suitcases. Better signage where to navigate, would be helpful... The hand sanitiser, shampoo, soap and conditioner bottles were all empty.

I have stayed a number of years at this airport for the convenience to the airport terminal. The staff is very nice and professional although I think they could use more staff at the reception to check in/out people. I have never had the breakfast but the dinner buffet is very good. The airport is quiet and clean.

I generally like a firm mattress but the one in my room was super firm and hard to sleep on. I do suffer from lower back issues so this may be attributed to my condition and not an issue for others.

Excellent location directly across terminal 1 at Lyon airport (st Exupery). Staff very helpful and professional. Bed was very comfortable and quiet room .

Nothing. Everything excellent about property. Just to be aware it’s far from Lyon downtown. We were aware and needed to be close to airport which is 35 m with Rhône express (expensive). With local bus 47 and T3 tram can get to downtown in 1 h for approximately 2 euros.

Lovely welcoming reception staff, friendly café assistant who organised a special dietary request & the Chef de Cuisine who made my request - when you are travelling these all make for a great vacation!! Great location for an early morning flight & cheery receptionist who checked us out at 5am. A short stroll across the road to the terminal & also extremely clean. We would definitely stay again!!

The hotel is located just across the airport terminal and all you have to do is cross the road. The room was very big, clean, modern and has all the facilities. Everything is presented in a clear manner which makes your stay easy. The restaurant has a rich menu and the food is good.

The hotel far from the city and therefore recommended only for airport stay. The bathroom has bath which makes it difficult for older people to use.

Check in and requests for receipts to use to claim back from British Airways was answered well. No breakfast items on room service menu - why not just have some pastries and fresh fruit Comfortable bed. Nice white towels. Good sound insulation. Good size mirrors+

Room was cold and the air conditioning settings change made no difference. Bathroom tap was very fierce and I got soaked! Shower head so high up I couldn't reach it.
