Sofitel Biarritz Le Miramar Thalassa

The location is unreal, can't be beat. The views amazing. The staff were unbelievably kind and accommodating. Truly service with a smile. The room was very comfortable and the bed was outside of this world. Room service and food were also superb. Breakfast was outstanding, and the views from the outdoor pool were amazing as well.

Prices are a bit elevated but this is reflected in the quality of the accommodation and the services. Facilities could use a minor refresher, or a small renovation but mostly things like outside paint etc. nothing substantial.

Fantastic location being within 5 minutes of the stunning beach. In addition an outdoor as well as an indoor pool. Lovely staff. The room was a great size given that we were travelling with our Staffy who loved everyone she came into contact with. Would highly recommend and would love to go back.

The only negative was how relatively expensive the breakfast was. We aren’t big eaters and so 31€ per person was too much.

I liked the room and balcony we were upgraded to of course the swimming pool the hotel is wee situated and the rooms were clean

there was a loose stone on the walkway just outside the entrance to pool are that could be hazardous and trip for older guest even though myself are still young and I didn’t like how the buffet was laid out because all the people were crowded at the self service bar post coronavirus

Ocean front in Biarritz with pool, spa, gym, restaurant, bar. Why leave? Every room has a balcony and most look directly on the sea. Wonderful service. Easy to walk to town

From the inside, it's a great property. From the outside, you see the wear that occurs with an ocean-front property. An exterior upgrade may be needed someday soon

everything. fantastic location 2 swimming pools (indoor and outdoor both heated while we were staying there first week of September 2022) own access to the beach from the outdoor pool. very nice rooms, very professional and helpful reception staff, excellent housekeeping and more ….

Location is excellent - the view, the beach, and proximity to the center. The in-house SPA (Thalassotherapy) is really nice. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, check in and check out were excellent.

Beds much too soft.

location, the bedroom size and comfort, the interior heated pool, the robe in the room. the breakfast was amazing!

some areas looked dated and corroded, hard to keep everything in good form when in such proximity to the beach.

Horribly expensive. €9 for a soft drink - really? Very tired, needs some work. Balcony not very comfortable - needs improved furniture.

we were right on the ocean - location is amazing - the weather wasn’t great but still enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the haman - staff were excellent

we liked the hotel - for what we paid we thought it was good value.
