Aparthotel Adagio Bordeaux Centre Gambetta

The location is fantastic! Right in the city centre and approx. 10-15min to the River Garonne. Access to lots of restaurants, shops and there's a shopping mall right across from the hotel. The TBM bus #1 from the airport drops you right at the hotel - this was a great bonus & the stop to get the bus to the airport is a 5min walk from the hotel. We requested an early check in which the hotel provided as we had an early flight in - this was great as we managed to rest before heading out for a whole day of touring. The Quinconces tram station is close by making it easy to access sites such as the Cite du Vin. We did a walking tour of the city (Voicemap) and we could walk to all the sites from the hotel which was awesome as we had a one day trip & we managed to do loads thanks to the hotel location. The staff were really friendly especially the lovely ladies at the reception in the evening on 23rd Feb - they were super helpful & gave us great recommendations for restaurants - Peppone is a must try when in Bordeaux - never imagined I'd enjoy Italian food in France but hey :-) it was awesome! The hotel room was clean & convenient as it has a kitchenette so you can prepare meals / tea / breakfast or heat your meals / leftovers in the microwave. There's also a gym, steam room / hammam - though we didn't get to use this as we had a short stay. If you have a short trip to Bordeaux this hotel is a must - it will save you lots of time thanks to the ease of access of all the main spots.

You can't book 1 night at the hotel due to restrictions on the hotel website which is disappointing if you want a quick stay in the city - we managed to change our booking (and the hotel staff were very helpful in getting this sorted) as we had a change in itinerary and had to cut our trip short. The rooms are ok - but didn't meet my expectations given the price (it was underwhelming). The location made up for it.

The location of this place was absolutely perfect! Every major landmark of the city is within easy walking distance (30 minutes max.), or there is a tram stop only a 5 minutes walk away, and the trams are great. The room was lovely, spacious, and clean. Very quiet and peaceful for a good night's sleep as well, and the kitchen was well stocked up with equipment. I want to give a big thank you to the reception team for being extremely friendly, and in particular to Nina for being so wonderful throughout our stay! She gave us lots of recommendations and always checked in with us when we passed her in reception, which added the loveliest personal touch to our stay.

Nothing was bad in my opinion! The gym is very small and not very well equipped but I wasn't wanting to use it so that didn't affect my stay at all.

Central location close to restaurants, shops and transportation. Very nice and helpful receptionists. Very spacious, sunny and clean room. Comfortable bed. The room is quiet and good for working. I came for business and sometimes I had to hold online meetings in my room. Wifi connection was good. Kitchenette was enough for simple cooking. They thought about every single detail. Ironing board and a place to hang your laundry. I stayed for six days and it felt like home.

The location, the quality of the shower, the quality of the soap and shower gel, the quality of the bed...

I would have liked a washing basin in the toilet!! May I also suggest including a pair of scissors in the kitchen drawer? The room was not spotless, and I used the dustpan and brush to clean corners and around the window when I arrived. Having said that, I know I am a bit fussy...

This was my second stay in two weeks. The receptionists were all very helpful. Charaf, Ninna, Audrey, Sabrina, Florence were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything I needed: A comfortable bed, a desk to study and a shower with good pressure. Moreover, the small kitchen was sufficient to do some cooking. The location of the hotel is super. Very centrally located to all kinds of restaurants, tram and bus stops.

This aparthotel is located in the center of Bordeaux but you don't hear the noise. It is very convenient to catch a bus/tram and you can find everything less than 15 minutes walking distance: good restaurants, shopping streets, museums, town hall, opera house... Staff are super helpful. Highly recommended!

Great central location also near to lots of restaurants and bars Decent size studio with excellent airconditioning Comfortable bed We had a bath and a shower basic studio with filter coffee maker and basic kitchen equipment ok for breakfast( fine for us) but not for self catering Staff were helpful and pleasant

pillows were a bit thin and not very comfortable decor and studio were a bit tired and need an update. Limited drawer storage for clothes and only a small wardrobe space ( which also stored the ironing board and airer)with 4 hangers- we were there for a week

Great room for our needs. Great location in the city, close to metro stops. Easy walking access to historic locations, great restaurants, and shopping!
