Yndo Hôtel

Divine boutique hotel. Bordeaux is a beautiful city and staying at Yndo Hotel makes it an experience you'll want to do again and again. Agnes and her staff are exceptional. Every request was catered to with a smile and professionalism and their suggestions for restaurants were fantastic. If you want to ensure a great stay in Bordeaux you should definitely stay at Yndo. And if you do stay make sure you start your day with their breakfast - best selection of home baked breads, croissants, cakes and probably my favourite granola ever and that's not even all that's on offer. So glad we stayed at Yndo - hoping to return and wouldn't even contemplate staying anywhere else.

I’ve read a lot of reviews for this hotel. Most people don’t understand the interior design marvel this properly really is. Ombré historic walls, daring Italian furniture placed perfectly to compliment the space, interesting color combinations, extraordinary attention to detail and the precision with which every element of this hotel is executed is mind blowing. It’s a work of art. Yes, the breakfast was amazing, staff went above and beyond and the cleanliness exceeded expectations. This property is a labor of love of a female hotelier with decades of experience in the industry. It oozes comfort, care and passion for what the owner and the staff do here every day. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotel, this place absolutely blew my mind.

everything, the design, the eclectic decor, the staff, the food, the whole experience. it’s a small boutique hotel where the staff knows you by name. the lobby with its multiple sitting areas that are impeccably designed, the dining area, the breakfast area. the owner is there all the time and we got to meet her and talk about it she art that she acquired for the hotel. she even cooks dinner in the hotel. the experience is top notch. A special thank you to Gregory who was instrumental in making our stay incredible. I happen to have gotten a bit Ill during my stay and he got me an appointment with the doctor the same day and recommended a pharmacy to buy medication. that was extremely appreciated. He has an infectious personality and is an amazing host.

Staff exceptionally freindly and helpful. Room comfortable and clean with excellent air conditioning (essential during our trip). Located in a quiet street, not much to look at from the street side, but very quiet with a lovely courtyard behind the hotel. Would recommend using the hotel parking which is limited so needs to be booked. Close enough to walk to the main attractions in the centre with good bus and tram connections throughout the city. We bought a day ticket for €5 each. Easy walk to many restaurants and bars. We don't normally take breakfast in hotels but this one was good value and because the hotel is small, seemed a very personal experience.

No tea or coffee maker in the room (Cosy room)

it was very comfortable and fairly close to the center (15 mins walk). The staff were very friendly and were very welcoming.

We nearly felt obliged to have the breakfast and dinner which was promoted, and the breakfast was great but fairly expensive. The dinner is only offered t guests, and we were too busy on tours to indulge but would have been pretty exy as the wine list is amazing and I'm sure the chef is too.

Breakfast was very good but at top end of price range. Staff at reception and dining room were first class, we had a cancelled flight and they went the extra mile for us. Location not the most central but the city centre was walkable for younger guests.

Dietary food requirement not passed on to chef for evening meal or breakfast Menus lacked flexibility or options.

Everything was perfect -- We were greeted with a smile and helped with everything before we even asked. Rooms were delightful and comfortable. Bathroom was sizable and toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/ soap/ lotion) were a fantastic smell, great quality and generous amounts. The breakfast was a treat - coffee was quick and delicious and the bread basket was incredible and tasty. Recommend everything about this place!!!

Loved it , new and what the owner has done to bring it back to its former state

One staff member that couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful but when next time we saw him he hardly knew us. Kept saying I’ll do this, I’ll do that and then nothing happened. However he was very nice

Beautiful property, very stylish, great interior design. Only a few rooms, very quiet. Staff was very helpful, could accommodate any request. Bikes are available which is a great way to discover Bordeaux.

I believe some rates have been updated (room service, parking) but menus still show old rates, which was a bit odd at checkout. Parking on property is slightly tricky for 28€/day.

A lovely hotel of just 11 rooms, close enough to the centre of things but also far enough away to be calmingly silent at night. A most elegant building that has been decorated in an extremely stylish way. That alone is worth staying here, but also the staff are incredibly helpful. Nothing is a problem. A truly great experience.

I'm not sure that I could identify any area that needed improvement.
